Grand 1900 Pittsburg Playhouse Pair Stained Glass Windows Architectural Salvage
Lovely pair of stained glass windows. From the early 1900's, originating from a playhouse in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. These windows are very rare, both in great condition. One window features the theater masks. Comedy and tragedy, with flamed torchiers on both sides of the masks, with twisted, flowing ribbons between them. The other windows center is a mandolin and piccolo, also with flamed torchiers, and ribbons. At the top of each window. Near the center, two light fixtures were hanging and I couldn't get them down for the photograph, not included in the auction, and the windows would look much nicer without them in the photo. Each measures 24 X 54" Which does not include the wood frame surrounding the glass. Each weighs approximately 100 pounds. Please write if you have questions. 2 Antique Leaded Clear Glass Windows - 6 Architectural Salvage Panels
This lot contains six leaded clear glass panels from the 1800s that can be used individually. Organized into two larger windows( three panels each) or organized into one very large window( although the six panels, because of the size difference of each, do not comfortably fit into the group of six) Each panel measures 6 5/8" wide with the height varying between 36" and 37" center pieces are taller) and each panel is very fragile because there is no frame to keep them rigid( they are presently tied to one large board to keep them secure) If these are arranged with three panels together as one window you will get two windows that measurement@20" wide x 37" tall in the center and 36" at the ends. The very large window that uses all six panels will be a clumsy 41" x 37" because the four 36" pieces ... morewill make the ends. They look great together( apologies for the photos but these haven't been cleaned) and can certainly become a worthwhile project. Because of their fragile condition these are being sold as a NEW JERSEY Pick-up with FREE DELIVERY to the Madison-Bouckville Antique Show in upstate New York on August 10-12. I will also deliver these FREE OF CHARGE to the Lambertville Antique Market in New Jersey at a time to be mutually agreed upon. The windows are presently located in Towaco. NJ, Exit 47 off RT 287- 10 miles north of Morristown and 25 miles south of Suffern, NY. Paypal or cash upon delivery/pick-up. Thanks for looking.
~ PAIR ANTIQUE BEVELED GLASS SIDELITES WINDOWS 66.5 TALL ~ ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
Description This is a great pair that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. Each has a beveled piece at the top with a wheel cut etched starburst. There are also beveled pieces in the middle and bottom. The rest is clear distorted glass. I see no cracks or breaks. The frames are weathered and partially painted. But sturdy. Each measures 12 inches wide. 66.5 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 8.25 by 61. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning but should clean up nicely. Please look at the pictures carefully. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors. Staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and
