The upper piece has a slag medallion ... morewith 4 fasceted green jewels and 2 creamy white circles in the corners. The rest of the window is set in a variety clear and distorted glass. The lower piece has a couple of creamy white half circles and the variation in clear and distorted glass continues from the upper to the lower piece. There are 2 pieces of border glass with cracks. Each is only 3/4 inch long and they are stable with no loss. The upper frame has a lower stile that has some seperation. Glue, screw and clamp to fix. It has no reinforcing bar on the back and if you shake the window(should'nt do that! it does have some movement. If hung and displayed, there will be no problems. The lower window does have reinforcing bars but the ties seperated and it does have a bow. If you wish, you can resolder the ties and it should be fine. The frames are painted white on one side, brown on the other. The set may need some attention but overall is in good condition for 120 year old windows. Antique Farmhouse Multicolored Double-Hung Window Late 1800s Chicago 28" X 42"
For auction I have a double-hung window from a late-1800s farmhouse in a south suburb of Chicago. The measurement of the two window panels that comprise one double hung unit is 28" wide X 42" tall. This has all the original glass. There is one hairline crack in one of the blue pieces(see image) The auction is for the entire double-hung unit. It is truely divided lite window with wood mullions seperating the individual panes. All wood is free from any adverse weather or aging effects. The clasp that locks the double-hung may or may not be original. I can't tell. There's a streetlight behind one of the windows. It looks like it could be damage. But it's just a streetlight. A $25 boxing fee will be added to the shipping cost. However, pickup is also an option. Thanks for looking!

Antique Aesthetic Victorian Stained Glass Double Hung Window
Vibrant colors make this double hung window quite stunning. This window frame measures 45 3/4" long by 22" wide. The top glass piece measures 20" long by 18" wide. The bottom piece is 19 1/2" long by 18" wide. There are a total of 10 jewels. The diamond shape centerpiece of the top window is a beautiful clear light blue glass with bubbles and a three leaf clover in the middle. The bottom has a wonderful red round crackle glass. This window was taken from a home that was built in Evansville. IN in 1900 and an extra wood frame has been added to help keep the frame safe. I can not find any makers marks on either window. Both stained glass windows have a rod to keep the glass from sagging. They have helped but there is still a bulge or movement of the glass on both the top and bottom. Both need to be flattened. Also ... morepresent are cracks to the all original glass. It is beautiful and will make a wonderful addition to any room. Free local pick up offered for this item. fid14040a&b A very unusual. Very good Antique American Stained and Jeweled double hung Window set. I will not try to count the number of various Jewels in this set, suffice it to say it is loaded. The border is comprised of orange/amber chunk Jewels, while the interior is flled with clear pinched Jewels, and pressed round Jewels. The upper sash has two massive chunk jewels, one of which is perhaps 2" on a side and is surrounded by more jewels. There is lots going on it this Window and is for the serious collector. The upper sash measures 33" x 42" while the lower sash measures 33" x 42.5" and both are the original sash's.
