Description This is nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is from a living room picture window. It is mostly clear distorted glass in a variety of patterns and textures. The 2 sidelites measure 47 tall by 16 wide by 1.5 inches thick. Each has 2 facet cut jewels. The glass only is approx. 40 x 12. The transoms above are each 17.25 by 16 inches wide. The glass only is approx 12 square. The center transom is 17 inches tall by 40.5 inches wide. The glass only is approx. 12 x 36.25 inches. This one has 4 jewels. I see no cracks or breaks. It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is painted on both sides. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The lead was painted on one side. The frame needs a little wood patch and cleaned ... moreup. It has copper wire on the inside neer the middle of it please see pictures. its almost 20 pounds in weight and yes it can be hung it has those thick heavy duty brass or copper wires on the back around 6 of them starting from the left all the way across to the right so you have plenty of wire to connect a wire to hang it up thank you The outside lead has lots of patina my pictures may have not picked it up. This is a Beautiful Small Victorian Stained Glass Pane with 6 colors. All pieces are original. It measures 6 5/8" x 7 7/8" The colors are Turquoise. Red, Light Green, Purple, Avocado Green, Golden Yellow. There are 25 separate pieces of glass. The condition of the came(lead surrounding glass) is Very Good, the glass has a few old age cracks, not affecting the integrity of the piece. Antique Stained Glass Roundel From Church Window Sun-Catcher Anchor 12 1/2" Anchor Stability and Security Hope in the faithfulness of God The Rope Recalls the rope used to bind our Lord when he was led away to the high priest. And thus symbolizes the betrayal and arrest. Description of Flaws-Damages This has some cracks in it. If you look at the rope where it curves at the bottom you will see it. While out taking some more pictures of this yesterday I noticed one more crack. It is in the bottom curve part of the anchor in the white glass. The last Two pictures shows the crack in the anchor looking at it from both sides. The third picture from the end shows the crack in the rope up close. Most of this one is made out of slag glass. The colors in it are so pretty the way they swirl into each other. If you look at the pictures of the Slag ... moreglass you will notice little crack like looking veins in it. I think it is just part of the glass. I am not sure. Please see the last six pictures that are close ups) This is such a pretty sun-catcher. I don't know if someone could fix the rope where the crack is or not. I would think maybe they could. If not its still very pretty. Own a unique piece of history! This window fragment dates to the 1890's. It was part of a salvaged panel of painted. Kiln fired stained glass from the Western Avenue Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio. The panel was originally saved from an earlier church. The grounds where the church once stood have now been turned into a fellowship community garden. This fragment features fleur de lis patterns in two sizes. A strip of undecorated red stained glass really sets off the patterns. Some of the original lead is missing. Parts of the original lead that is in place need to be repaired or replaced. There is no damage to the glass. This fragment is difficult to measure due to its shape. As you look at the pictures, the bottom is about 5 3/4" wide. It tapers out to about 7" at the red strip. I have two of this style and the conditions do differ. The best one looks about the same as all the other windows, except the wood frame has a pretty large crack, that weakens the frame. This auction is for 4 sawtooth glass tiles. Made by Luxfer. 1st Pat. date Oct 4, 1881. The glass tiles measure 3 1/4 by 4 inches. The glass has turned a light purple(S.C.A. from sunlight interacting over a long period of time with manganese used in the glass. The use of Manganese ceased during WW I, to conserve metals for the war effort, so this panes are 100 years old or more. In wonderful condition! Nice piece of architectural glass. This lot contains six leaded clear glass panels from the 1800s that can be used individually. Organized into two larger windows( three panels each) or organized into one very large window( although the six panels, because of the size difference of each, do not comfortably fit into the group of six) Each panel measures 6 5/8" wide with the height varying between 36" and 37" center pieces are taller) and each panel is very fragile because there is no frame to keep them rigid( they are presently tied to one large board to keep them secure) If these are arranged with three panels together as one window you will get two windows that measurement@20" wide x 37" tall in the center and 36" at the ends. The very large window that uses all six panels will be a clumsy 41" x 37" because the four 36" pieces ... morewill make the ends. This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Upstate New York Victorian Home It has great colors and a nice design. It is in the original frame which is in good shape. There is a chip on one corner, white paint, needs repainting. The window measures approx. 2 x 15 x 22 1/2 inches Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. 2 Antique Victorian Stained Leaded Glass Window Fragments.Repair Restoration
Here are 2 pieces of a pre-1900's stained glass window to repair or to use as donors for another piece. Each measures about 15" tall by 18" wide and has some really nice old glass- especially the green. Neither piece is perfect. I count 7 cracks in the one with the loose green piece and one crack in the other plus some losses. PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE SOLD 3 OTHER ADDISON GLASS PANELS ON EBAY IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER ONE CURRENTLY LISTED ON MY SITE AT THIS TIME. ALL THE OTHER PANELS ARE DIFFERENT FROM THIS ONE. THIS PARTICULAR PANEL IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE AND THERE ARE NO OTHERS LIKE IT IN MY COLLECTION. Here we have a wonderful original and vintage pressed glass panel manufactured by the Addison Glass Works in Addison New York. This panel was bought many years ago from the Addison museum at which time the museum gave the following written account as to the origin of this panel: The glass panel was manufactured at Addison New York about 9 miles from Corning and was made from about 1870 to 1890 as special orders for the Park. Windam and True Sash and Door Factory. The panels were found many years prior in the collapsed and deserted building of the door factory where ... morethey had been stored. The glass factory which made the panels made decorative and commercial glassware and later became known as The Fostoria Glass Company, according to local remembrance. It was also told by residents of Addison that some of the workman from Sandwich Mass came to work for the Addison Glass Works which may account for the similarity of design and treatment" Again. This description was a written explanation as to the origin of the glass panel which accompanied the panel when bought from the museum years ago. The cobalt blue glass panel measures approx 3 and 15/16ths inches X 4 and 15/16ths. There are no cracks or breaks in the glass, and the corners are relatively sharp.overall the glass is clear and bright. There are some small chips and flea bites on the outer perimeter of the panel which most likely occurred either during the manufacturing process of the panel, or shortly thereafter. please see all photos) PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 5 DAY AUCTION.
