The plates ... morehave a swirl pattern around a star burst in the center. There is a gold circle line around the star burst. Around the plates the glass is done in several different clear textured glass in a geometric pattern. The outside border is done in blue with white glass mix. The overall size of the panel is approximately 17 x 11. I want to note that the plates have a base about 1/2 high so the back side of the panel is not flat. This is to allow the front side to be flat to the edge of the plates where they then curve in for the plate. The panel can be hung in either direction as there rings in each corner. The patina on the solder is black and the frame is silver. All items are handmade by me using the Tiffany style of construction. Shipping: Insurance is included in shipping. Antique Vintage Stained Glass Panel - Ships
This panel was removed from my wife's aunt's house a few years ago. It was installed when the house was built in 1922. And was very old then, but we don't know it's origin. It measures about 26" high by 30" wide- approximate. It's in very strong. Solid condition. It has not been cleaned with any solutions or treated in any way since it's removal aside from a light dusting. This is a bright. Vibrant, excellent piece.

Antique American Stained & Jeweled Glass Door Panel w/ spectacular Rondel center
fid12048 Antique American Stained/Jeweled and Beveled Glass Door Panel. This is a difficult window to photograph. Particularly as regards the lavender background glass. The correct appearance is as pictured above. There is no color shift from bottom to top. In a replaced frame the window measures 22.75" x 43.5" and is in excellent condition. When I purchased the window it had a clear Rondel in the center which pretty clearly was not original(see the last two pictures, note the deformed lead work) perhaps replacing a painted plaque or an etched address number. Regardless, I felt that it could be better attended to with a more appropriate blown Rondel, perhaps with a crazed surface. With the help of. I had several Rondels blown with various surface treatments and settled on the one pictured. The central Rondel as been replaced as ... morenoted, the window re-cemented, new re-bars bent to conform to the design of the window and reframed. The window quite appeals to me with its Jewels and floral inspired design topped with blue ribbons and I feel that with the replacement of the center has made this window quite a stunner. Here is an antique. Stained-glass panel from the Daprato Studios of Chicago. The company was founded in 1860. I think this is an early piece, based upon the overall look and the glass around the edges. The face of Jesus was painted by hand. the panel measures about 11&1/2" high and 10" wide. Condition is very good, other than some minor wear to the painted figure. This does not appear to have ever been part of a larger window. Shipping is free within the continental USA.

Vintage Stained/Leaded Glass Panel Historical Insert Late 1800s Chicago
For auction I have a stained glass panel built about 35 years ago. The center piece was salvaged from a wrecking site in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood in the 1980s. It was used soon after in this panel. Which I assembled in my studio. This historical insert was acid-etched, and dates back to the late 1800s. The remaining segments are French craquel and hand-cut Austrian jewels. The panel measures 12 7/8" X 17 5/8" If desired the hangers can be removed. Please excuse the poor photograph. Erhart Zollet Armorial Panel Stained Glass with Arms of Bern& Sankt Gallen 1601 Armorial Panel of stained Glass. A bearded officer wearing helmet and breast plate holding a banner with the arms of Sankt Gallen, a shield by his left leg emblazoned with the arms of Bern, inscribed with his identity Erhart Zollet and dated 1601 As often is the case. Parts are not original, in this case certainly the entire upper section. The Zollet family name occurs quite often in the canton of Fribourg, who with Bern at that time ruled over parts of today's French speaking part of Switzerland. The name Zollet also is spelled Chollet, Chollex, Colet and Colletti. As the damage is significant. Please refer to all pictures for condition issues.

This auction is for 4 sawtooth glass tiles in a leaded glass frame. This was part of an old window. Made by Luxfer. 1st Pat. date Oct 4, 1881. The panel measures 17 inches long and 4 1/2 inches high. The glass has turned a light purple(S.C.A. from sunlight interacting over a long period of time with manganese used in the glass. The use of Manganese ceased during WW I, to conserve metals for the war effort, so this panes are 100 years old or more. In wonderful condition! Nice piece of architectural glass. I believe this panel to be Russian in origin and at least 100 years old. Posssibly one panel out of a larger piece. The Kiln Fired fusion of the vitreous paint to the glass is the process used in the old church windows of Europe since the 16th Century. I know he acquired this and other pieces in his travels in the 1920's. This beautiful Piece of art glass measures 11x15in. Antique Medieval 13th Century Stained Glass Panel Fragments from Koln Cathedral. This listing is for a set of five panel fragments purchased from the estate of a WWII European Theater veteran. One of the panels is marked Koln Cathedral 1945. The Koln(Cologne) Cathedral survived after sustaining 14 bomb strikes during WWII. The Cathedral stands on the site of a 4th century Roman temple. Which was followed by a square church, that was followed by a cathedral which was completed in 818 which burned down in 1248 and construction of the present Gothic cathedral began. There were numerous interruptions in its construction which was completed in 1880. Although many of the panels in the cathedral date back to the 13th century, I do not know the specific age of these fragments. The lead surrounding each piece is in relatively sound structural condition. ... moreMost of the individual glass pieces have some movement, but are secure within the lead surrounding it. These fragments likely fell from the windows during bombing and consequently there are a number of cracks and chips which you will see in the pictures. Given the historical significance, I have not cleaned these, except for a light dusting.
