The plates ... morehave a swirl pattern around a star burst in the center. There is a gold circle line around the star burst. Around the plates the glass is done in several different clear textured glass in a geometric pattern. The outside border is done in blue with white glass mix. The overall size of the panel is approximately 17 x 11. I want to note that the plates have a base about 1/2 high so the back side of the panel is not flat. This is to allow the front side to be flat to the edge of the plates where they then curve in for the plate. The panel can be hung in either direction as there rings in each corner. The patina on the solder is black and the frame is silver. All items are handmade by me using the Tiffany style of construction. Shipping: Insurance is included in shipping. ~ GREAT ANTIQUE AMERICAN STAINED GLASS WINDOWS JEWELS~
This are a double hung(top and bottom) set of stained glass window that were salvaged from a demolished PA home. The upper piece has a slag medallion with 4 fasceted green jewels and 2 creamy white circles in the corners. The rest of the window is set in a variety clear and distorted glass. The lower piece has a couple of creamy white half circles and the variation in clear and distorted glass continues from the upper to the lower piece. There are 2 pieces of border glass with cracks. Each is only 3/4 inch long and they are stable with no loss. The upper frame has a lower stile that has some seperation. Glue, screw and clamp to fix. It has no reinforcing bar on the back and if you shake the window(should'nt do that! it does have some movement. If hung and displayed, there will be no problems. The lower window does have reinforcing bars ... morebut the ties seperated and it does have a bow. If you wish, you can resolder the ties and it should be fine. The frames are painted white on one side, brown on the other. The set may need some attention but overall is in good condition for 120 year old windows. Overall measurements are appx 75 inches tall by 22 1/2 wide. The upper is 37 1/4 tall. Your bid buys the pair. If you have questions. Feel free to ask. Thanks for looking! The upper measures 24.25 inches wide by 35.5 inches tall. The glass only is approx. 20 by 32. The lower measures 24.25 wide by 36.5 tall. The glass only is approx. 20 by 32 also. They are 1.5 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. Both frames have chip and loss but are stable. The center has a yellow background with 2 purple flowers and blue jewels in the center. There are green leaves and yellow buds. It measures 24 long by 31 tall and is 1.5 thick. From estate. Sold as one lot of 4. About 1890- 1910. Truth and Equality are each about 34 inches by 12 inches. Which includes the 1 3/4 inch framing. Liberty and Justice are each about 33 inches by 9 inches which includes 1 1/4 inch framing. The items all hung inside clear glass windows in the library of an old home of a retired judge. The sun was able to shine through them. The overall condition is from very good to excellent. Equality does not seem to have any consequential condition issues while Liberty and Justice have occasional one inch or 1/2 inch cracks. Most of them are photographed. Truth has the most noticeable condition issue as photographed but the relatively small panel involved should be readily replaceable if desired. Ideal gift for a lawyer or lawyer to be! Up for bid is a Matching Pair of 1840's Stained Glass Church Windows. They are 53" at the tallest and 47" at the short side. 22" inches wide. The glass itself is 48" by 43-1/2" by 14" wide. The center"rose" is 12" across. The wood frame is 3" at the thickest(where the swingout is- they are meant to be opened) and 1-3/4" elsewhere. I do not know what kind of wood it is. These are genuine antique real leaded stained glass windows. They will need some repair- I wouldn't dare try myself after all they are 170 years old! Mo. it was torn down in 1990 to allow a shopping mall to be built. several architectural pieces were salvaged. at any rate, these windows wound up at belle star that was a noted antique dealer for many years in st. louis, mo. they in fact sold these windows for 1000.00 each not long after that acquired them, but the person that bought them never installed them and sold them back to belle star. i tried to buy them several times for a few years and finally did at a price higher than i am starting them at. i was quite sure i would put them in my victorian home, but have never gotten around to doing that and at my age,i doubt that i ever will. anyway, i decided to try to sell them perhaps. there are ... more6 of them, 5 are in mint condition, no cracks in the glass, the wood is perfect, the leading is perfect, they are as solid as the day they were made. the other window is in near mint condition, wood perfect, leading perfect, as solid as the day made, the only defect is one of the amber glass pieces is cracked at the tip, i tried to picture in one of the last two pictures, too small to show up, the two little red square pieces at the bottom ends have small cracks, and the clear glass next to the red one on bottom left has fractures. to be honest, i doubt you would even notice had i not told you. in these described places, there is no missing or loose glass. even though small cracks etc. the glass still remains intact and very solid and does not move in anyway. the colors are red, green, blue, amber and clear. the windows are very large being 32 inches wide and 31.25 inches tall. the glass portion in each is 28 inches by 28 inches. the windows actually have some glaze missing but they are as tight as a fiddle string. they could be reglazed in no time and should be if they are stripped or re-painted. on occasion one might find a pair of identical windows and maybe once in a blu

Grand 1900 Pittsburg Playhouse Pair Stained Glass Windows Architectural Salvage
Lovely pair of stained glass windows. From the early 1900's, originating from a playhouse in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. These windows are very rare, both in great condition. One window features the theater masks. Comedy and tragedy, with flamed torchiers on both sides of the masks, with twisted, flowing ribbons between them. The other windows center is a mandolin and piccolo, also with flamed torchiers, and ribbons. At the top of each window. Near the center, two light fixtures were hanging and I couldn't get them down for the photograph, not included in the auction, and the windows would look much nicer without them in the photo. German European Stained Glass Leaded Window 2 Windows 4 Panes! Hand Blown Glass
For sale are 2 stained glass windows. 4 panes total. The bottom panes are 36x19 and the top panes are 24x19. They are framed in wood for protection. I had a stained glass maker look at them and the company stated that they were approximately 100-150 years old, made in Germany. The glass is hand blown and hand painted and a technique called"silver staining" was used. There are 6 different religious icons on the windows, Joseph and Mary, the women at the well, Abraham with Issac on the alter to be killed, and 3 other scenes. There is no broken glass or lead. In the early 1990's the lead had several minor repairs by a qualified stained glass repairer. The story from the last owner of 70 years, is that they were purchased at an auction in NYC in the 1930s and that they came from the Vanderbilt estate, but that can not be proven. ... moreI can not find a makers signature but that does not mean that there is not one on the glass. Workmanship and the very heavy frame all indicate that the period is correct. The glass is matching and PERFECT with no cracks or chips. The window has a slight inwards bow but it appears that this effect was intentional. This window was in the inside of the building and the frame is as solid as the year it was made. It appears to have been transoms above a door and the raised bottom would have been to allow the air to circulate. A Fantastic piece of History awaiting a new home. Antique stained glass windows circa 1880 plus
Obviously way too much to describe. I believe the pictures almost speak for themselves. The colors are absolutely phenomenal especially the blues and greens. The windows are from the Victorian period and onward. The first window in the gallery is out of a house dated 1884, I personally removed that one. The crystal one is absolutely gorgeous when the sunlight reflects off it, let alone the other ones. There are some minor cracks in some of them this could all be explained either by email or phone call to only serious buyers. Antique Arch stained glass windows lots of jewels
Antique Stained Glass Arch window. Original Oak Sash. Circa 1890's. Awesome condition. Window has 35 beautiful jewels. size: bottom of sash wood to wood is 36" The middle sash wood to wood is 33" height is 20.5" Various florentine patterns of glass. Can only see one tiny cross crack smaller than the size of my thumbnail. Will not fall out in very tight. Really have to look hard to find it. Thanks for looking. Email with any questions.

fid10031a-d A suite of Antique American Floral Stained and Jeweled Glass Windows from Povey Bro. Studio of Portland Oregon. Circa 1900. I am in the process of editing the historic background of the windows but essentially it is that they came from the Lipman home. Portland, Or. Lipman of Lipman Wolfe Department Store)These windows are in very good condition. They had been installed for the last 10-20 years in a Portland home, protected by thermopane units. The arched window was not covered. The windows have had a couple of replaced pieces and the addition of a few lead lines. All done quite some time ago. The pair of side panels are in their original frames and measure 18.75" x 76.5" The central panel. In a replaced frame, measures 41" x 76.5" The Arched panel. In original frame measures 41" x 22.5" The glass ... morethroughout is quite nice and very typical of Povey Brothers work and the use of chipped chunks in the Arched transom is also typical of their work.The suite of windows is really quite marvelous. 10 stained glass windows. 5 arched top part& 5 of the push up part of the window Measurement approx 6ft each piece Condition- there is a crack in a couple of pieces( but we have anothe piece of a windor to replacethe cracked) 1 window has 2 pieces that had come loose(we have the pieces unbroken) The wood is old over 100 years Color yellowish gold. Old Flemish hand-painted rondel stained glass windows after Durer
These are four hand-painted stained glass rondels in early Flemish style(possibly 16th century) They are placed in a larger pair of 19th century frames. The scenes depicted are after Durer woodcuts and are of biblical or classical events. One is very close to Durer's Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse but only has three horsemen) The style and colors match other 16th century Flemish painted rondels as does the border design. I am not an art expert and cannot say definitively they are 16th century but all indications are that they in fact are including the high quality of the painting work and the colors employed. One of the frames is damaged but does not affect the rondels. There is a hairline crack in the circular decorative border of one of the rondels. I have seen similar windows in somewhat worse condition on British auction sites go ... morefor eight thousand dollars per panel! Please NOTE! Shipping charges are estimated!
