Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is done in the Queen Anne style with small panels of stained glass with wood mullions. The colors are purple. Gold, blue, green, and red. There is a larger stained glass leaded panel near the middle done in blue. Gold, purple and red with a jewel in the middle. The frame is sturdy but it looks like it was trimmed. It measures 32.5 inches wide by 32.25 tall. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The glazing putty needs filled in in places. A couple of pieces of glass were replaced with close but not exact matches. Please see the pictures carefully. MEASUREMENTS: 31-3/4" Wide 26" High 1-1/8" Thick This window is one of a pair that was salvaged from a Victorian home in Philadelphia. The wood is in very good condition with no rot. The glass is in very good condition. As well, with no cracks. There are 9 panes of glass. The center section is obscure patterned glass. It does let the light through it. The blue and amber glass panes are textured. They are old and wavy. The original glazing was all missing. The window has been re-glazed, and the glass is now nice and tight. Up for your consideration is a lower sash antique Queen Anne stained glass window for a 20 by 19 1/4 inch opening. It features wonderful transitional Arts& Crafts era rich purple and rich olive green border textured glass panes and a single clear glass pane. The outside surface has white paint. And the inside was never painted. It was salvaged from an old house years ago and has been in storage ever since. Please note that the upper sash has sold. THESE WONDERFUL PAIR of mid 1800s stained glass windows(biggies) originate from a marvelous old ornate Victorian home down on the Cape.as in Cape Cod. I bought them years ago to use in my barn and have changed the design since then.so now they are up for purchase. The windows have beautiful colors and the pictures do not justify how pretty they are. Size.whoppers.FIVE FOOT HIGH AND 42 INCHES WIDE. The colors of the stained glass are cream. Greens and deep golds and soft brown. Very pretty glass and some of the pics show better when the light shines through. The man in the picture is 5'11" The glass is sturdy in the panels, but there is a glass that has a crack in it, please see in pics. The glass is tight however.
