Made of very thick glass. The beveled glass is designed in a stylized tulip pattern and reflects glints of rainbow colors at the edges in a most beautiful way! which is nearly impossible to photograph) It has a great"look" but does have some significant condition issues. The glass has one area where there is a cluster of multi-cracks. and there are several places where there are very scratched sections on the superficial surface of the glass(seems like someone rubbed back and forth with a knife blade at one time? ~perhaps trying to remove paint?a small area of push to the leading near the bottom(barely noticeable at all) the wooden frame is kinda funky in places. Has some old hanging loops embedded into the top for hanging by chains in a larger window. These condition issues seem to"blend in" with the background for whatever you see through the glass when placed in a window.and the viewer is simply dazzled by it's beauty!you could have the one section with the cracks replaced or you could"live with it" as I did) Measures: 34" wide.44" tall.the wooden frame is about 1 3/8" wide. My guess would ... morebe that this piece is from around 1910. It features an Arts and Crafts or almost a Frank Lloyd Wrightish design. It's 11-1/4" wide and 29" tall. The glass is all original but the window has been partially releaded and has new zinc on the edges. It's been cleaned and regrouted so it should be good to go for another 100 years. The upper pattern is made up of opaque white granite. An off white opalescent, opaque brown granite and some opaque orange granite glass. The field is clear chip glass and the inner border is the same as the off white in the pattern. The outer border is a very interesting shade of opaque green. All in all a very cool little Arts and Crafts design window. I'm going to have to raise my shipping and crating because in most cases the 25.00 doesn't even cover the Fedex charges. The actual material costs for the crate this window will ship in. see my feedbacks about packing and crating) will be 15.00 no time included. Description This is a great set that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. They have all clear distorted glass. They are in their original frames and your bid buys both. The upper measures 31.5 inches wide by 33.25 inches tall. The glass only is approx. 27 by 30. The lower measures 31.5 wide by 34.25 tall. The glass only is approx. 27 by 30 also. Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. One frame has metal braces and there are a couple of hairlines. Here we have a veryh old lead stain glass window with amazing colors as shown. It has copper wire on the inside neer the middle of it please see pictures. its almost 20 pounds in weight and yes it can be hung it has those thick heavy duty brass or copper wires on the back around 6 of them starting from the left all the way across to the right so you have plenty of wire to connect a wire to hang it up thank you The outside lead has lots of patina my pictures may have not picked it up. Around 39 1/2 inches tall and left to right its 24 inches wide. the only tiny piece has a crack as you can see my finger pointing its very hard to notice still solid not loose falling out. i never shippied a large heavy led glass window befor so i am not 100% sure on a shipping cost so i put 34.99 but if it cost less i will refund you back your balance. also ... moreif it cost more i would exspect the same respect. you may pick up in person if possible. Story: The window was meticulously removed from a house in Williamsville. NY, a northeast suburb of Buffalo, during a remodeling project(see pictures showing the window before it was removed) The house was built in the mid-1960’s in the retro-style and this window clearly doesn't fit that period. The previous owners of the home were quite eccentric and had many antiques ... moreand collectibles amongst their possessions. The window remained in its original condition thanks to professional removal. Details: Size– 3’ 10” Long x 1’ 8” High(46” x 20” Age– Unknown. We spoke with the ACSG and they estimated via email between 1880 and 1900. Style– Early American Jewel Pieces– All original and intact Bonding Agent– Lead Material– Glass Colors– Gold. Yellow, purple and blue hues Condition– Good Markings/Artist Signature– None Condition: The window is in good condition given its estimated age. The window has not been cleaned professionally since it was removed from its location. It has original paint marks/splatterings around its frame from old window trim paintings(see detailed pictures) which can easily be removed. It has some dirt and grime around the edges of the lead and in the crevices(see pictures) which can also be cleaned up. There are some tiny hairline cracks in a few of the window pieces but most cannot be seen without very close inspection(see pictures) There is one piece of lead at a corner. Vibrant colours and good quality stained glass. This window panel adorned the wall of an antique Périgord château chapelle(see lovely Paris pink rose cross) The scalloped top adds so much appeal to it! I managed to rescue two similar panels. Sadly this one is missing some bits of glass and has some minor accidents. You could have it repaired. But it has so much charm in its original condition and when the light hits this panel, you can really see how bright and vivid are still the colours! This is an antique vintage ornament. Beautiful Matched Pair of Antique Victorian Leaded Glass Transom Windows Frame
Up for auction is this pair of Victorian leaded glass windows. They are a matching pair and have only one small crack in one of the pieces(see photo) They have great colors of green and mauve and are truly in great shape and very solid. The Frames measure 19 1/4 inches by 44" and 1 3/8" thick. The glass measures about 16" by 40" They are in there original wood frames that are very solid. This is a beautiful piece brought here by my parents from Holland. It is in its original wood frame and I stripped and repainted it brown over 35 years ago. It can easily be redone to whatever color you prefer. I secured a hook on the back so it can hang as a display piece. The size of the window without the frame is:27.5"x 18" With the frame 32 1/4"x 22.5" One of the rectangle amber pieces is cracked as you can see in the pictures. No glass missing though. Most of the lead is in good shape. You can see around the purple diamond shape. A small piece missing, but not all the way through. Very vivid colors. Green. Yellow/gold, amber, brown and 2 shades of purple. As you can see these windows back then were"puttied" in. Some that claim to be from this period are not. All of the glass is clear and clear distorted with beveled glass in the middle and ends. The center piece also has a cut glass starburst. There are no cracks or breaks. It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is painted on both sides. It measures 66 inches wide by 16.5 inches tall. It is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 61 x 12. Antique stained, hand-etched and painted leaded glass panel 6 ½ x 30 inches
This panel is from the border of a very old church window from upstate NY. We have cleaned and re-grouted the piece and added zinc edging for reinforcement. All the glass is original. This one of a kind. It features hand painted and etched work of a master artisan. There are some imperfections and some cracks but that’s part of their intrinsic charm. If you have ever been fascinated by the intricacy and harmony of color and line in old church windows. Check out this beautiful architectural beauty.
