The plates ... morehave a swirl pattern around a star burst in the center. There is a gold circle line around the star burst. Around the plates the glass is done in several different clear textured glass in a geometric pattern. The outside border is done in blue with white glass mix. The overall size of the panel is approximately 17 x 11. I want to note that the plates have a base about 1/2 high so the back side of the panel is not flat. This is to allow the front side to be flat to the edge of the plates where they then curve in for the plate. The panel can be hung in either direction as there rings in each corner. The patina on the solder is black and the frame is silver. All items are handmade by me using the Tiffany style of construction. Shipping: Insurance is included in shipping. Made of very thick glass. The beveled glass is designed in a stylized tulip pattern and reflects glints of rainbow colors at the edges in a most beautiful way! which is nearly impossible to photograph) It has a great"look" but does have some significant condition issues. The glass has one area where there is a cluster of multi-cracks. and there are several places where there are very scratched sections on the superficial surface of the glass(seems like someone rubbed back and forth with a knife blade at one time? ~perhaps trying to remove paint?a small area of push to the leading near the bottom(barely noticeable at all) the wooden frame is kinda funky in places. Has some old hanging loops embedded into the top for hanging by chains in a larger window. These condition issues seem to"blend in" with the background for whatever you see through the glass when placed in a window.and the viewer is simply dazzled by it's beauty!you could have the one section with the cracks replaced or you could"live with it" as I did) Measures: 34" wide.44" tall.the wooden frame is about 1 3/8" wide. ~ GREAT ANTIQUE AMERICAN STAINED GLASS WINDOWS JEWELS~
This are a double hung(top and bottom) set of stained glass window that were salvaged from a demolished PA home. The upper piece has a slag medallion with 4 fasceted green jewels and 2 creamy white circles in the corners. The rest of the window is set in a variety clear and distorted glass. The lower piece has a couple of creamy white half circles and the variation in clear and distorted glass continues from the upper to the lower piece. There are 2 pieces of border glass with cracks. Each is only 3/4 inch long and they are stable with no loss. The upper frame has a lower stile that has some seperation. Glue, screw and clamp to fix. It has no reinforcing bar on the back and if you shake the window(should'nt do that! it does have some movement. If hung and displayed, there will be no problems. The lower window does have reinforcing bars ... morebut the ties seperated and it does have a bow. If you wish, you can resolder the ties and it should be fine. The frames are painted white on one side, brown on the other. The set may need some attention but overall is in good condition for 120 year old windows. The windows have beautiful colors and the pictures do not justify how pretty they are. Size.whoppers.FIVE FOOT HIGH AND 42 INCHES WIDE. The colors of the stained glass are cream. Greens and deep golds and soft brown. Very pretty glass and some of the pics show better when the light shines through. The man in the picture is 5'11" The glass is sturdy in the panels, but there is a glass that has a crack in it, please see in pics. The glass is tight however. The upper measures 24.25 inches wide by 35.5 inches tall. The glass only is approx. 20 by 32. The lower measures 24.25 wide by 36.5 tall. The glass only is approx. 20 by 32 also. This panel is largely original and in a new oak frame. It looks darker at the bottom. But it's just wet from washing. It has a purple border with blue inner corners. The center has a yellow background with 2 purple flowers and blue jewels in the center. There are green leaves and yellow buds. It measures 24 long by 31 tall and is 1.5 thick. Glass only is about 19.5 by 26.5 Overall. It is in very good condition. There are a few tight hairlines. It is flat and tight in the cambing. It needs a better cleaning. 4 Large Old Antique Stained Glass Windows TRUTH, EQUALITY, JUSTICE, LIBERTY
From estate. Sold as one lot of 4. About 1890- 1910. Truth and Equality are each about 34 inches by 12 inches. Which includes the 1 3/4 inch framing. Liberty and Justice are each about 33 inches by 9 inches which includes 1 1/4 inch framing. The items all hung inside clear glass windows in the library of an old home of a retired judge. The sun was able to shine through them. The overall condition is from very good to excellent. Equality does not seem to have any consequential condition issues while Liberty and Justice have occasional one inch or 1/2 inch cracks. Most of them are photographed. Truth has the most noticeable condition issue as photographed but the relatively small panel involved should be readily replaceable if desired. Ideal gift for a lawyer or lawyer to be! Matching Pair Antique 1840s Stained Glass Church Windows 53" by 22" rosette
Up for bid is a Matching Pair of 1840's Stained Glass Church Windows. They are 53" at the tallest and 47" at the short side. 22" inches wide. The glass itself is 48" by 43-1/2" by 14" wide. The center"rose" is 12" across. The wood frame is 3" at the thickest(where the swingout is- they are meant to be opened) and 1-3/4" elsewhere. I do not know what kind of wood it is. These are genuine antique real leaded stained glass windows. They will need some repair- I wouldn't dare try myself after all they are 170 years old! fid12057a&b Absolutely stunning pair of Antique American Floral Stained and Jeweled Glass Windows. Probably from the Buffalo/Pittsburg area. Circa 1890. The windows, in their original frames measure 18.75" x 46.5" ea. There are several curious features about these windows. Firstly, it appears that much of the background glass is plated as there are indications of water staining between layers in several areas. Secondly, the bevel medallions may or may not be original. Both are made with old, yellow/green glass. The lead work on both panels appears to be original on the interior sides. The lead work on one of the panels appears to be original on the exterior, while the lead work on the other has clearly been tampered with. Finally, one window has two original re-bars while the other has a third, smaller gauge bar just below the ... morebevel medallion. All of the bars appear to have been part of the frame for a long time as opposed to recent additions. In the final analysis these are very fine windows with some very unusual glass used throughout. for auction is a set of 6 identical stain slag glass windows. these windows were taken from a grand old victorian home built in 1880 in st. louis. Mo. it was torn down in 1990 to allow a shopping mall to be built. several architectural pieces were salvaged. at any rate, these windows wound up at belle star that was a noted antique dealer for many years in st. louis, mo. they in fact sold these windows for 1000.00 each not long after that acquired them, but the person that bought them never installed them and sold them back to belle star. i tried to buy them several times for a few years and finally did at a price higher than i am starting them at. i was quite sure i would put them in my victorian home, but have never gotten around to doing that and at my age,i doubt that i ever will. anyway, i decided to try to sell them perhaps. there are ... more6 of them, 5 are in mint condition, no cracks in the glass, the wood is perfect, the leading is perfect, they are as solid as the day they were made. the other window is in near mint condition, wood perfect, leading perfect, as solid as the day made, the only defect is one of the amber glass pieces is cracked at the tip, i tried to picture in one of the last two pictures, too small to show up, the two little red square pieces at the bottom ends have small cracks, and the clear glass next to the red one on bottom left has fractures. to be honest, i doubt you would even notice had i not told you. in these described places, there is no missing or loose glass. even though small cracks etc. the glass still remains intact and very solid and does not move in anyway. the colors are red, green, blue, amber and clear. the windows are very large being 32 inches wide and 31.25 inches tall. the glass portion in each is 28 inches by 28 inches. the windows actually have some glaze missing but they are as tight as a fiddle string. they could be reglazed in no time and should be if they are stripped or re-painted. on occasion one might find a pair of identical windows and maybe once in a blu

Border lead has been releaded in 1/4" H channel. All glass is slag/ opalescent glass.Each measures about 11 1/2" X 10 1/4" I can solder hooks on for hanging for $15 for 2 pair. These have different frames now, as they were set in a home until recently. Frames are functional, not original to windows. The 2nd, gold/plum scroll window, has a narrow oak frame, about 1 inch. It has a slight, 5 in. protrusion outwards. Beautiful, graceful etching on the clear parts really shows! Windows measure about 53 in. x 15 1/2 in. to edge of decoration. Antique stained glass windows circa 1880 plus
Obviously way too much to describe. I believe the pictures almost speak for themselves. The colors are absolutely phenomenal especially the blues and greens. The windows are from the Victorian period and onward. The first window in the gallery is out of a house dated 1884, I personally removed that one. The crystal one is absolutely gorgeous when the sunlight reflects off it, let alone the other ones. There are some minor cracks in some of them this could all be explained either by email or phone call to only serious buyers. I would rather sell these windows as a one package then singularly The asking price is based on that. Due to the size and weight of the glass it would be better for local pickup. If shipping is desired all costs are the responsibility of the buyers.

A rare and beautiful set of stained glass windows. The hand crafted design and nature of the stained glass speaks to the late 1800's. The windows were salvaged from an old church in the Chicago area in the 1970's and have been professionally restored to their original glory.
