And is probably American Made(it is not marked ... moreanywhere) The chair looks to be machine made. Because of the turnings of the front posts, but it could be partially hand made. It is solid oak. It has been painted 4 times. Possibly originally. There are only scattered chips of paint, but on a couple I was able to determine that the chair has been painted pink(originally? Light blue. Dark green. And this current pea green. In that order. The chair is super strong and could probably hold an adult with a butt small enough to fit into it. The width of the seat is 12 1/2" x 11 1/4" The chair is 21" tall. 15 1/2" wide at the front and 12 1/2" wide at the back. The rockers are 21" long exactly. The arms are nicely cut in kind of a early American style. The back has 2 2" slats and the seat has 5 2" slats; they are not cracked. There is no structural issues with this chair. Please see the Description Section where I go into detail as to condition. The paint has dulled and taken on a nice patina of its own. But this chair has not been painted in decades, and in fact, the tone of the green has a certain" 1950's" coloring to it. As I state in the Description Section. This paint on this chair could be lead base. Or Kemtone. A brand name paint from the 1950's that adhered well and perhaps also had lead in it. For this reason, I would say this chair is more for an adult to decorate with than it is for a child to use. One of the nicest very nice early to mid- 20th Century children's chair you will see. I ship USPS. Fedex, or UPS, depending on which is the most practicable given the item being shipped. This would come Fedex Standard Shipping. It has the original tray, which is usually gone. Someone took the wheels off as they did not want to use it as a walker in the house. We do not have the wheels, but there were a 3- or 4-inch wheel that goes into the holes on the base, and they are not necessary for the chair to work. It still works as a high chair for half way down and down to the floor. You release the spring latch in the back to adjust the height.

ANTIQUE Child's Children's WOOD(Oak? ROCKING CHAIR ~ Very Rustic. Primitive This is very old. Antique rocking chair for a child. I don't know it's exact age, but I would guess it's atleast 60-70 years old. The finish is very rustic, a beautiful patina. It's been painted, but it was many years ago because the most of the paint is worn off. From what I can see, there are traces of red, green and white paint. It is in good condition for it's age. But it is missing a piece of wood between the rear legs. still very sturdy. From an es tate we have a very very nice small childs or toy red oak and rush or can e se at chair. I am saying Mottvill e style because it i s not marked at all and came from an area of central New York very near Mottville where these famous cha irs were made. It looks like it may have been painted re d at some point in it's li fe or at the very least has a serious red stain on the oak. The j oints are redder th an the rest. The cane or rush seat is in EXCELLENT condition leading me to believe it has been redone perhaps at some point in it's life. It is a very well put together chair and i s very sturdy. Beautiful Antique Oak Child's Rocking Chair
Listed is a beautiful Antique Children's Rocking chair. This chair is made very well and it is still solid. Made out of oak. Has a cloth cushion. I am unsure of the exact age of this item. The screws used on the chair are look pretty old. Dimensions: Seat Height 14" Total Height 32" Total Length-30" Seat is 15" deep and 16" Wide. Chair Seat back height is 20-1/2" Tall. The condition is very good. There are some small dings and scratches from age and use. A couple of the seat cushion holders at the back of the chair are loose and are unable to be tightened. The cushion is very stable and tight. Cushion material is in pretty good condition for its age. This would be a very nice piece to add to a collection.

Great vintage circa 1900 child's potty chair. This chair is made of oak in the Windsor style with a combback. It is sturdy and solid. The seat is just 9" from the floor. There is a chip of wood where the first spindle on the right side as one sits in the chair is attached to the seat that can be seen in photo#3 and a split in the front rung shown in photo#6. This handsome child's rocker appears to have been handmade and is in wonderful original finish. The seat appears to be some sort of vinyl but can easily be re-covered by removing four bolts. Child's Solid Oak Rocking Chair Rocker 1920-1950 Early Painted Beautiful Fancy
Here is a beautiful Child's Rocking Chair that dates. I would estimate, from the 1920-1950 period. And is probably American Made(it is not marked anywhere) The chair looks to be machine made. Because of the turnings of the front posts, but it could be partially hand made. It is solid oak. It has been painted 4 times. Possibly originally. There are only scattered chips of paint, but on a couple I was able to determine that the chair has been painted pink(originally? Light blue. Dark green. And this current pea green. In that order. The chair is super strong and could probably hold an adult with a butt small enough to fit into it. The width of the seat is 12 1/2" x 11 1/4" The chair is 21" tall. 15 1/2" wide at the front and 12 1/2" wide at the back. The rockers are 21" long exactly. The arms are nicely cut ... morein kind of a early American style. The back has 2 2" slats and the seat has 5 2" slats; they are not cracked. There is no structural issues with this chair. Please see the Description Section where I go into detail as to condition. The paint has dulled and taken on a nice patina of its own. But this chair has not been painted in decades, and in fact, the tone of the green has a certain" 1950's" coloring to it. As I state in the Description Section. This paint on this chair could be lead base. Or Kemtone. A brand name paint from the 1950's that adhered well and perhaps also had lead in it. For this reason, I would say this chair is more for an adult to decorate with than it is for a child to use. One of the nicest very nice early to mid- 20th Century children's chair you will see. This is another great family piece. This was my grandfather's when he was a young child(born 1907) My late mother kept this chair forever. It has all the original mechanism brackets and bar. I think the cushions are not original. But are very old. They appear to have had buttons on them at one time. Cushions are not perfect, but are still very attractive on the chair. This is a nice one family owner piece with a great look and patina on the original finish. This has been carefully cared for throughout the years. Shows some minor wear being 100 years old and all, but far less than most still original examples that I have seen. ANTIQUE SOUTHERN PRIMITIVE COUNTRY FARM LADDER BACK OAK CHILD'S HIGH CHAIR
PLEASE READ COMPLETE LISTING You are welcome to visit my ebay store Point-B-Salvage Great patina on this old farm child's high chair- From an old farm estate- Antique Southern Primitive High Chair straight from the farm- Lot's of love can be found in the history of this vintage farm chair- you can see the wear and use on every part- even the front legs show flat spots from children rubbing their shoes against the leg while they learn to walk- I'm figuring this chair from early 1900s but it might even be a little older- the scale and dimensions show true craftmanship- Looking at spots where the paint is worn. The chair appears to be built of oak- see photos- looking under the woven seat it's obvious hand split oak is the weave- again true craftsmanship in the making of this chair- The legs appear to be carved. But possible ... moreturned- they taper slightly at they rise to the top and the back rest has an offset where the top ladder back slat attaches- under the paint on the back it appears some old pegs have been added along the way- Looks like painted more than a few times during it's long life- looking under the seat it shows white. Blue and then a more pale blue- as wear has worked it's magic the patina has turned into a beautiful finish- The chair measures just over 20 inches to the seat- with the front legs up to the arms measuring just over 26 inches- the 3 spindles are on every side of the chair and are about 6 inches apart- the highest point of the chair. This wonderful piece is in very good condition and is quite sturdy. There are no cracks or gouges. All of the seat slats are in excellent condition. It looks to be very gently used and not at all abused. The woman I got this from was a teacher and she said that this chair came from her school. From around the 1930's, and spent most of it's life in her home. It is perfect for a child's room or for your favorite doll. We have for your consideration a Child's/ Salesman's Sample? Mission Oak. Arts& Crafts rocker. This rocker is done in the style of Heywood Wakefield however, the original label is almost gone so I cannot make an exact identification. The rocker is early 1900's and is in good antique condition with a nice patina and firm tendon and srew joints. This rocker features a formed saddle seat and measures: 25" tall, X 17 3/4" wide from arm to arm, X 13 1/4" deep.

Antique Child Chair in Oak Clean All Tight Hand Done Turnings Look Great in Home
This Evenings Antique for Auction is an Oak Child(Youth) Chair in great condition. Lots of oak turnings to really make it look like the real antique it is; 100 + or- years and the sturdy oak has stood up with very little damage on edges and throughout the chair. At one time it was a regular high chair, but it looks and works great as a child chair& not really visible of ever being something other than a child chair. It's all cleaned up and all legs and turnings are tightened, so you won't have to worry about gluing, etc. The chair is all set to go, you don't have to spend a whole bunch of time on it when it arrives at your home. It has a nice shade of color too, medium oak, pretty much the color of Minwax Early American Stain. Originally it had hole caning and at a point in time someone put a fabric seat on it and it looks ... moreattractive still at this point in time with the current seat. If someone ever wanted a cane seat, it could be done with no problems. It stands about 26 5\8 inches high at the top rail and about 20 3\8 inches to the top of the seat. Antique Mission Oak Stickley Style Child's Rocker Rocking Arm Chair Children's
Good used condition. Measures 29 inches from the floor to the top of the back. Each rocker measures 25 1/4 inches from end to end. All the joints are tight and there are no splits or cracks in any of the wood. One of the rockers is held on by two wood screws as you can see in the pictures. Antique Child's Acorn Rocker in Oak with detailed art on top of chair. This chair was part of a plantation estate sale. It just needs some TLC. This antique child's rocker is in nice used shape for its age. Slightly loose in a couple of spots. Could easily be tightened with a little wood glue and effort.
