Antique Wooden Curved Seat Rocking Chair The chair is in great condition with age appropriate wear and dates from the 1920's-30's. The wood of the seat has a beautiful striped pattern in it and there is also a slight curve with wear rub marks from years of use. The arms curl and have a really nice old fashioned feel to them with wear on them as well. The chair measures 33 1/2" tall at the backrest x 14 1/2" at the seat. This is a beautiful vintage chair by Thonet New York Excellent condition It came from a shoe store from the 1960's that was decorated with this furniture. Bottom of chair legs has metal protectors. Beautiful brass rivets on the back of the chair. The green covering appears to be a vinyl type fabric. This chair is very comfortable and really cool design. Antique Wooden Rocking Chair This Is a Brace Back Rocker with Nice Sausage Turned Spindles GREAT VICTORIAN LOOK This rocking chair shows appropriate wear consummate with its age which dates from around the turn of the century/ 1900's. The original finish is still in tack showing wear worn– rub marks on its edges and other surface areas that should be able to be rejuvenated as opposed to refinished or perhaps just used the way it is… I believe the wood to be mahogany but I am not sure. As I am not an expert on wood. The finish shows pretty much all of what started life on this rocker however one rocker does have some finish loss to the outside bottom portion of it… but overall this rocker has a nice natural patina… There are two screws that were added at some time in this rockers life to secure one of the rockers. Vintage SIKES wood metal swivel office chair curved back
Vintage Sikes office chair wood and metal design.heavy sturdy construction.this one needs a little TLC.it looks to have been painted gray over the wood finish.the back has an area of damage to one of the spindles at the bottom would need some filler.metal parts just a little rusty.not sure if the seat goes up and down cannot figure out the mechanism.not the original casters these were added but seem to fit well.measures 33" tall and 16" depth.seat is also 16" wide.

A sweet and sturdy and very unique chair! This is an early1900's quartersawn oak spindle back chair with a carved back and unique curved seat. There is a carved skirt beneath the seat that highlights the curve in the seat. What a great conversation piece. Very solid.
