Beautiful Mahogany Chippendale Ladder Back Dining Chairs - Set of 6
Beautiful Chippendale style chairs of rich mahogany and a lovely ladder back design. These chairs came from my grandparents in Georgia and date back to at least the 1930's. The upholstery is a diamond-patterned wine color. There are a few slight stains-they could be used as is or reupholstered to suite your decor. The chairs are a lovely addition to a dining room. They are sold as is. With no guarantees about the actual age, materials, or maker. These chairs are in great shape with no visible damage. Aside from normal wear(patina) Beautiful oak frames with rush seats. They are 41" high, 20" wide, and 19" to the seat. Local sales only, sorry. The set consists of 2 arm chairs and 4 side chairs, all of which feature nicely carved reeded legs with turned stretcher supports, a prominent natural wood grain, and desirable lightly distressed finish. Age: Early to Mid 20th Century Measurements: Arms 34.5" H x 23.5" W x 22" D. 19" Seat Height, 25.5" Arm Height Sides 38" H x 20" W x 22" D. 19" Seat Height Condition: I tems are in very good vintage condition being structurally sturdy and sound. With age appropriate signs of normal use, including minor dings, rubs and scratches to the wood here and there, as well as some discoloration to the fabric, as pictured below.
