FEEL FREE TO MAKE US AN OFFER. This is a very cool vintage industrial-age swivel task chair on casters. I have totally disassembled the chair to clean. Wax and lubricate it. The chair is ready to use! It has a Great metal frame with brown leather upholstery- all original. It's a good early one! There is no maker's mark on it but I am 99% certain that it is a DoMore chair, as I have had several in the past and they looked just like this one. Looks to be 1920's or 30's vintage. Rare to find with original upholstery in such good condition. The chair is fully adjustable. The seat can be raised and lowered and the back reclines using the cool machine age knob below the seat. The padded leather back support is nicely pleated on the backside and also swivels horizontally, as well as adjusts up and down. This is just a great old industrial ... morechair and would work perfectly as a desk chair and would fit nicely in any mid-century modern, steam punk or vintage decor. I'm not sure if this was originally a factory chair, medical or doctors chair, or possibly a drafting chair. There is wear to the chair but overall it is in very good condition and has a great distressed appearance. The chair is quite heavy. Which is why the shipping charges are high. Up for bid is an Antique/Vintage Circa. 1890- 1910 Industrial Machine Age Era Solid Quarter Sawn Oak Wood Office Tanker Arm Chair in Great Vintage Condition and Ultra Rare& Very Scarce as these are rarely found. These old industrial chairs are becoming harder and harder to find as industrial furniture is extremely hot right now. This design looks like it was manufactured by(Heywood Brothers) before they became"Heywood Wakefield" but it is missing the original paper sticker. It is stained a very beautiful nice dark brown in color. The back of the chair is spring loaded which is adjustable and it also has heavy duty industrial era steel threaded pipe which the chair moves freely up and down on. It is extremely heavy solid oak throughout the entire chair with such a gorgeous patina to the old wood grain. The chair does have a repair ... moreon the seat where it had cracked in half but it was bolted back together underneath the bottom of the chair and there are 2 screws on the seat. It is now very solid and sturdy. I weigh over 200 lbs. and there are no worries at all when I sit on it. Overall. This is such a nice piece that has lasted well over a hundred+ years without falling apart. It will last another 100+ years without falling apart if taken care of properly. The hardware used to put these solid oak wood chairs together with back then was machined and forged by hand and is extremely durable. This chair is unbelievably heavy weighing in at 32lbs. It is 38" tall when it is adjusted all the way to the top as far as it goes with the seat being 20" above the floor. I can be adjusted down to 34"inches tall when it is adjusted all the way down as far as it will go with the seat being 16" above the floor. The top seat measures 20" wide X 18" deep. Vintage Remington Rand Industrial Metal Office Swivel Chair Steampunk Goodform
For sale is one vintage Remington Rand secretarial swivel chair from the 1930s. It is in excellent original condition. This Remington Rand chair features the early"leaf spring" steel base design of this type of chair. Before Goodform would make famous with a redesigned aluminum base. The backrest and metal plate behind the back cushion are aluminum, but they are painted the same gray color as the rest of the chair. The perforated vinyl cushions are in excellent original condition also; the seat has very minor wear on the front left corner, and the backrest has one rather noticeable spot of wear at the very top edge(pictured) All mechanical adjustments function properly. Seat height adjusts from 16"21" This chair also has its original casters, and, while they swivel properly and the bearings are good, the wheels are rather ... morechewed up. It still rolls fine, but you might want to find replacement wheels for the casters. Fortunately, they are made to be removed, as the axle is attached with a nut. This is a great looking vintage industrial chair. At some point in it's life someone added this wood box under the seat- it has a drawer(measures about 7" by 9" Use your imagination. You could keep paints, or art supplies in it and have access to them while you work. The base is green iron, the old rubber wheels show wear. The pictures are part of the description. Up for sale is a fantastic victorian steampunk style wingback oak(or walnut) swivel desk chair. Unlike many wood swivel desk chairs made around the end of the 19th century. Up into the beginning of the mid century modern movement in the 1930's and 40's, this is actually a high back design, with very cool rustic wingback styling. A very rare piece to find, particularly in this condition. There haven't been any breaks or serious repairs to this chair. Here is a vintage machine age Art Deco industrial desk/ drafting chair that is in pretty good condition for age. The seat and back rest have no rips. Tears or stains. The back rest is adjustable and has the original knob. The legs are spider shaped great art deco look! Legs measure 9 1/2" high from floor to horizontal piece of leg. Wheels turn freely and ball bearings look good. Chair rolls around nicely. Also swivels all the way around! The chair will go up and down when spinning if you hold the piece in the middle looks like there was another knob that is missing and someone has put a screw in it, I mention only for accuracy chair still functions properly and shaft is well oiled and threads all look good as well. But the rod that is attached to the brace has rust on it and will need lubed. The back is inward-outward adjustable. Seat is 14.25" wide by 13.5" deep.
