Wonderful Antique Folding Child’s Wooden Chair This beautiful old child’s folding chair is wonderful! It has a couple of pieces of veneer missing… A small piece at the very top of the chair and a piece on the front right corner of the chair– both are pictured. There is also a small crack where the bracket is mounted on the bottom of the chair. Also pictured. There are some scratches on the back of the chair. Also pictured. It measures 12” deep and 26” tall. When it is folded it is 28 ½” long. The chair is sturdy and has heavy metal brackets. I cannot find any makers marks on the chair. I have several unique antique and vintage children’s items listed– but they are in several different categories so if you are interested. Check out my! These are all wonderful estate finds.

This is an auction for a late 1920 to early 1930s Stakemore antique folding chair in great condition. Works great. Manufactured in NY by Buffington. I don't know much more about it. My kids and I were using it as a breakfast chair but I decided I should probably sell it to someone who can appreciate it more. If I don't sell it soon I'll be selling it to a local antique shop. This folding wooden chair is decorated with grain painting. I'm sure it was originally covered with a sling carpet seat. Which is still attached, but under the current seat. It looks like they cut the edges of the original so it wouldn't show when the new seat was added, so if you wanted to restore it, the new one can't just be removed. It's in good used condition. No major problems, just some scratches. The chair folds really easily. Would look really cute with a doll or teddy bear sitting on it. Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. Govan, Glasgow was the largest Co-op in Scotland and made everything from Bon-Bons sweets to Bombs. During WWII General Bernard Montgomery done a tour of inspection of the"Flying Dustbin" landmine production facilities at the SCWS sheet metal factory, Shieldhall, probably in the early months of 1944. The fact that Montgomery visited Shieldhall to see for himself the production of these specialist munitions is an indication of the vital importance of the work being done ... morethere. The"Flying Dustbin" was a mortar shell fired from tanks or landing craft to destroy pillboxes and other defences, and it helped clear the Normandy beaches of both mines and enemy fortifications. Antique 4 Folding Chair Wooden Bench. Old School/Theatre Seating All Original
Very unique all-wood folding chair bench. It is rare to find a set of 4! Thought to have been seating in an old school or theatre. Measures 23" from front to back of seat. 73 1/2" long, backs are 33 1/2" tall, and folded up measure 6" thick at widest bottom part. One seat has a small chip in venire and loosening towards the edge, another seat has some slight flaking of venire at edge, and there is a split below one of the seats in the legs,see pics) but does not affect functionality. From what I can tell, they are all original with no repairs. Everything works and folds up nicely to store away and save space. Very sturdy. Thanks for looking!

Up for auction is a set of 3 hardwood folding chairs in very solid condition. Nice patina and all work as they were intended. Of course they have normal wear for a set of folding chairs this old. The middle chair you see has a little more of the varnish left on it then the others. Maybe it wasn't used as much but needs to be mentioned. Also there is some very old gum on the bottom of one of the chairs{picture 11} and will leave that up to the new owners to scrap off or not. Looks like it will come right off. Again some people want these left just as they are. None of the marks or bruises effect the workings of the chairs nor take away from the look we are all looking for. The original number tags are still on the top edges{picture 9} Throw these in the trunk and enjoy the beach or picnic and show them off! Will arrive to you well packed ... moreand ready to use out of the box. It's always a good idea and will give you many more years.
