Each chair does show obvious aesthetic signs of age i.e. wear to the metal, bends in the bottom basket and wear/scratches in the wood seats but these details give them perfect patina and a great look. Vintage Child's/ Doll Oak Folding"School" Chair This is a vintage child's size oak folding chair made by the Paris Mfg. Co of Paris Maine. This wonderful piece is in very good condition and is quite sturdy. There are no cracks or gouges. All of the seat slats are in excellent condition. It looks to be very gently used and not at all abused. The woman I got this from was a teacher and she said that this chair came from her school. From around the 1930's, and spent most of it's life in her home. It is perfect for a child's room or for your favorite doll. Very cool old school house desk with folding chair. This one makes a great little side table with a very sturdy fold down seat. Seat is good up to 260. It easily supports my girlfriend and I without creaking. The metal and wood have patina from head to toe and it really looks good on it. The desk has been mounted to a pair of wood strips to make it easily movable and very stable. The desk is 25 inches at its tallest and the seat is 13 inches from the floor.
