Hi again. look at the pictures. i do not think this has ever had a lot of children rocking on it. it is in wonderful condition for the period. i think this is not a civil war relic. but civil war in style. and certainly not new hand shaved/ carved wood. 24 inches tall. the wicker is almost perfect. there are some round head nails added to the legs. but it is mostly pegged. there are 2 faded green lines on both the seat ... moreand the back. this is an almost pristine yellow color. never left on the porch in the rain. lol. i can find no breaks or broken wicker bits that i can find. all tight anyway. it would look fabulous in the doll room. put that big teddy bear in it to guard the girls. lol maybe in the nursery. but many of these childrens chairs were made by indiana convicts. i think the richmond jail made chairs for something like 90 years. mine is not marked. my chair is in nearly new condition. but seriously handmade and near a hundred years of age. anyway. It has the look and is priced to sell. this is fresh from my last estate auction. just when i say. no ore furniture. lol) there is no reserve. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The chair is estate fresh and needs a detailed cleaning. The chair is wooden.And i would guess 1950's era. The chair measures 28in tall x 13in at the seat. The chair is a well made piece of american woodwork,and could easily last another 100 years if taken care of. The Varnish has crackled and gotten gooey at one point,and there is blanket fibers stuck to the old varnish. I think a light cleaning would make the piece sparkle again. I ALSO RESTORED THE ORIGINAL FINISH, MEANING I DID NOT STRIP THE FINISH AND STAIN THE CHAIR. I CLEANED THE ORIGINAL FINISH BY SOFTENING IT AND LEFT IT ON THE CHAIR TO CURE. Up for auction is this vintage children's rocking chair. The chair is made of oak and is 25 1/2" tall by 20" long by 15 1/2" wide. Someone in time has put a cloth cushion over the original wicker seat of which appears to be in good condition. The back rest has a pattern of acorns and a vine like design. The finials have brass caps on them. It has had some old repairs made to it that should be redone. There are parts of it that are loose. Split and cracked and need to be glued. WONDERFUL CHILD'S SODA FOUNTAIN. ICE CREAM PARLOR ROCKER! I have never seen a rocker in the soda fountain style and this is adorable. The rocker is wrought iron with a round wood seat. The body of the rocker is made of twisted hand wrought iron and done very well. It is very stable and should be able to support a substantial amount of weight for its size. It measures 20" from the top of the back to the floor. 11" from the seat to the floor, seat is 9 3/4" in diameter and back measures 10" from seat to top of back. The rockers are 16" long. The chair is painted an off-white and has some chips on the wrought iron sections which gives it some of its vintage charm. Vintage Childs Rattan and Bamboo Bentwood Chair Rocker Here is a child's chair/rocker that I recently picked up at an auction. I think the wood is bamboo. But not sure, so you be the judge. Much of the chair screwed together with vintage screws and then has strapping around the joints to give it a nice look. The rattan back and seat are still intact. The chair is all together. But could use a little attention to tighten it all up again. Great twirls of the wood on the arms and on the back. No makers mark on the chair that I can see. The chair/rocker is 26-3/4" tall. By 13.5" across, by 30" wide. Someone really made the rocker end really long so that little one in your life was less likely to go for a spill! Vintage Victorian Childs White Wicker Chair with Custom Floral Upholstery
This chair is stunning and sturdy for a small child or may be used for display of your collectible bears. Etc. As you can see in the photos, it is made primarily of wicker, but the frame is heavy duty and the custom made tied on upholstery is a beautiful floral print. You are bidding on a antique child's white wicker chair. It is in good condition with only some scattered fibers missing from the seat and a little bit of the wrap from the tips of three legs. Still sturdy and quite attractive. The seat measures 13" by 12" and is 11 inches off the ground. It has a slight bevel to the back. Overall height of the chair is 23" and overall width from the exterior of each arm is 20" A nostalgic looking piece that Humphrey Bogart would have loved. Oak Hill Vintage Childs Rocking Chair
This is an Oak Hill Child's Rocking Chair. It is 26 inches high and the opening between the arms is 13.5 inches. It is in very good condition and all of the spindles and legs are nice and tight. Everything on it is original. The top of the chair. Has a painted scroll work, with a plant in the center and some leaves. The finish looks pretty good. It has the original Oak Hill sticker on the back and was made in Fitchburg, MA. No international shipping.

Rocking Chair Wooden Vintage Walnut Antique Childs Wood Rocker Beautiful Carved
This is a beautiful old child's rocker. It is over 100 years old. I can find no markers as to maker. The carved top is just gorgeous and the spindles add to its beauty. It does need to be tightened in a couple of areas and some of the spindles connecting to seat need to be glued. Still it is very good condition and I used it in my living room. My grandchildren have used it for a long time up until recently. It would also be a wonderful decoration with a doll sitting in it. Chair stands 28" tall and is 16" wide. It is larger than most child's rockers.

From an estate sale. A vintage or antique wooden child chair, 24 inches tall, seat area about 11x11 inches, nice shape, probably painted red, I can see some where the thicker ivory paint is cracking. It seems very sturdy, I find no breaks. There are little metal caps on bottom of each leg so perhaps a school chair? Pickup is free(Pittsburgh PA area) shipping somewhat costly due to size and weight. I will insure the shipment.
