Veill- I am trying to find a signture It is like his style though. Condition: Sturdy. Original patina. The brass tacks on the top of the chair appear to be original. The tacks in the carpet. The carpet, and the material on the back are probably not original. Looks to have been reupholstered years ago and was very well done. The carpet really fits that period. Size: This antique folding rocking chair is 17-1/2" wide. Unfolded it stands 33-1/2" tall X 17-1/2" wide X 22" deep. The seat of the chair slants and is 14" from the ground in the rear and 15-3/4" from the ground in the front. Folded flat it is 38-1/2" tall. Still 17-1/2" wide, and 6-1/2" deep. This chair folds for easy storage. It is a fine dark wood with a beautiful patina. I believe it is walniut. It is built very well and comfortable. The back gently curves. On each side of the top back are two Victorian finlials. The seat is similar a carpet material. But may not be original. It looks great though. There is some fringe missing on the carpet on the top of the chair. This chair is from the 1800s. We bought it in an antique shop years ago and used it at Civil War Reenactments. The chair is in very good condition, with only some light surface scratches on it, that are typical of such an old piece. It has wonderful inlays along the top rail of the back. The chair is a smaller size, measuring 35" tall at the center of the back, 35.75" tall at the top of the side rails, 13" wide at the back of the seat, 15" wide at the front of the seat, 14.5" deep, and 17" high at the seat. It is just a lovely little side chair, in great shape, and would be a wonderful addition to any antique collection.

The black walnut frames date from the 1860s to 1870s and are very similar. Unless you look closely, you would never know they are not a match as the fabric dominates your eye. One chair has metal castors that are all original and the other chair has wooden castors that appear to be original. The gentleman’s arm chair is in nice condition and I don’t see anything wrong with it. The ladies chair is in good condition with a typical split in the seam in the back that we will tighten up prior to shipping. There are no metal bracing or any poor repairs to the chair.

They have been called"King and Queen" chairs. These pieces are in terrific condition considering they are probably at least 110 years old. Here are the stats: Queen Chair- Smaller of the Two: 32.5" tall. The seat is 16" in diameter, the back is about 14" wide. The thick curlique at the top of the back is cracked through, you can see how this could happen as the tendency is to grab the chair by the center top of the back and the leverage would cause a break. This is easily repaired. Otherwise no damage that I can discern. King Chair- Larger of the Two: 41" tall.15" wide, 16" diameter seat. This piece has a bit more damage than the other. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL pair of antique. Early 1900s, French Victorian chairs! These STUNNING chairs feature ornately carved Rosewood frames and beautiful fabric with extensive nailhead trim. The chairs feature exaggerated lines which give them a gorgeous profile. The backs are curved, in Louis XIV style, and have an hourglass appearance from the front and back views. The seats are extremely wide with lovely contoured fronts. The chairs are armless but the wooden frames extend downward in such a manner as to give them the appearance of having small, petite arm rests. The carving of the wood is lovely and features leaves and cherries on the top center frames. Small, French crosses are notched into the frames on each side of the leaf and cherry design. Carved acanthus leaves on the upper sides of the frames give the chairs ... morea subtle, winged" look. The front legs are cabriole with the leaf and cherry carving repeated. The back legs are straight with a subtle curved line. The chairs have GORGEOUS fabric. Though probably not original, it is quite nice and is expertly finished. The fabric is quite interesting and combines floral patterns with large paisley feathers and a beautiful, geometric lantern design. The fabric is quite colorful with hues of cream, tan, blue, green, burgundy and gold. The fabric is accented with extensive nailhead trim on both the front and back. The trim is an antique gold color and is quite striking. The chairs have are overstuffed with ample cushioning. This extends the fabric sections approximately 4" from the frames. The chairs are in very good condition. They are quite sturdy. As with most antique chairs of this period. They are not terribly heavy. There are a few small scuffs on the wood(as would be expected) which can be resolved with a simple touch up. There is nothing severe or distracting and the chairs look extremely nice. Vintage Antique Victorian Pair Wooden Children's Doll Chairs Shabby Painted
This is a very old pair of wooden doll or small toddler chairs. Each measuring 10" W across the seat, tops of the seats are 10" above floor level, and overall chair height is 20 1/2" One has two very old layers of paint(red underneath and green over the top) and the other has most of the green and some of the red layer stripped off and sanded in spots. The wood on both chairs is in very good condition with little damage(no cracks, large chips, or obvious damage) but the paint is pretty shabby on one and in fair condition on the other. Some of the joints on the green chair are a little loose and need to be re-glued. They will be packed very well and insured during shipping.

We are pleased to be offering today this solid oak fancy cutout press back multi-turn spindle post rocker that dates from the turn of the century(1900’s) The rocker has been all stripped. Sanded, stained, multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer and a big reupholstered seat in a brocade fabric. The rocker has been all tightened up and is ready for years of carefree enjoyment. The multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer will ensure that the finish will last for decades. It is all solid oak, manly in size, but stylish in style. It has multi-turn solid oak spindles that the back posts go right into the solid oak seat. Oak front spindles support the rolled scroll arms that go into the seat. The base is all multi-turn with the original oak rockers and the back is all pierce carved or cutout like a saber sawn pattern. On top of the double press section ... moreit has multi-turn spindles that support the crest rail. The size is 24 inches across the arms, 19 inches on the inside of the arms, 21 inches deep from the front to the back, 44 inches to the posts when it is at the normal resting position and 16 inches high to the seat.
