They come with a black leather type fabric seat. One seat has a small damage spot on the corner that can be seen in the photos. The slip seats are easy to reupholster by popping them out and fabric can be stapled on and the seats can be reapplied. The chairs have the traditional one piece flared back leg, tapered front leg and solid H mahogany cross stretcher. The overall size of the chairs are 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat.

The measurement from the floor to the seat is 19″ They were expertly hand carved and feature carvings throughout each chair of flora. The base of each dining chair has two barley twist stretchers. All six chairs are extremely sturdy and wobble free. The upholstery was recently redone and is in very good condition. The chairs are antique and do have some distressing ... morein the form of tiny dings. We feel this is desired in an antique chair and adds character. There are no major repairs or damage. Early 1900's Antique Pressed Back Chairs Set Of Six 7th chair free
Set of six antique pressed back chairs with a free 7th repaired chair. From the early 1900's. These six were apprasied at 950.00. I believe that they are cherry they are to light to be oak but I am not 100% sure of the wood type. In nice antique condition with normal wear. Some of the floral and leaves pressed backs have worn. There are normal scratches from age but nothing abnormal. The 7th chair repair is shown in the last picture. They have wood seats with tacks all original. You can see the wood plugs that hold the back to the seat. They measure 33" tall from floor to topof sides. 33-1/2" tallfrom floor to middle of arched backs. Up for Auction: A set of SIX(6) Heywood Wakefield Early American dining room chairs. They measure approximately 41 inches in height and the seat is 20 x 17 inches. Two of the chair bottoms are marked Cinnamon(color of stain) but all of them look the same. The entire set of 6 are marked 216-11. All are stamped Heywood Wakefield. Each chair leg as a metal base as shown in picture#5. I believe these chairs are made of birch wood. I consider the condition of these chairs as"gently used" as you would expect given their years and purpose) with only with a few very minor nicks here and there. Structurally. The entire collection is very solid/stable with no issues or broken pieces of wood anywhere. These items are for local pick-up only in Chapel Hill. NC.

Six Antique Dining Room Chairs that are really beautiful and will add distinction to any room. My mother needlepointed the seats. One arm chair and five side chairs. The seats measure 18.5 inches at their widest point x 17 inches deep. They are 40.75 inches tall. I don't know their age. But my parents purchased them approximately 60 years ago and they were already antiques. I have moved a few times and they have some nicks, but they are in very good condition. It is a wonderful set of six that we have stripped. Sanded, stained and applied multiple coats of s atin sheen lacquer all after we have glued and tightened up the chairs. The seats have been all reupholstered with.75 inch foam cushion so that you can enjoy your gatherings around the Thanksgiving holiday table. The chairs have a five finger hold splat back. A shield back design, carved front spade foot legs, a solid H mahogany cross stretcher and are in excellent ready to go condition. The set consists of five side chairs and one arm chair. The arm chair is 21 inches wide across the cushion, 18 inches deep, 22 inches wide across the arms, 41 inches high to the back, 27 inches high to the arm and 19.5 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 40 inches high to the back and 19.5 inches high to the seat. The overall condition is good. You can see where one back was repaired a long time ago. A quick note: when we restore or refinish, we always leave the little nicks and dings on the chairs so they do not look like plastic when they are all done. We leave the character marks

Set of six black wood bentwood Thonet cafe chairs
I'm selling a set of six beautiful bentwood chairs(no room in our apartment) I purchased these in rough shape last summer and restored them myself-they were all sanded by hand. Cracks or chips repaired, joints reinforced, and painted black. I do not believe they were originally a set-there are very slight differences between some of the chairs. I'm also not sure if these are Thonet originals or reproductions, but given the age and construction I believe they are originals. It's clear that some of the seats have been replaced over the years. These look great around a kitchen or dining table. And would be perfect in a cafe, restaurant, or bakery. I'm sad to part with them.
