The black walnut frames date from the 1860s to 1870s and are very similar. Unless you look closely, you would never know they are not a match as the fabric dominates your eye. One chair has metal castors that are all original and the other chair has wooden castors that appear to be original. The gentleman’s arm chair is in nice condition and I don’t see anything wrong with it. The ladies chair is in good condition with a typical split in the seam in the back that we will tighten up prior to shipping. There are no metal bracing or any poor repairs to the chair.

Both these antique parlor chairs have cabriole legs in the front with the original castors; the lady’s chair has finger carving which has an oversize medallion back and dainty hip rests and the gent’s chair has dainty open arms. The woodwork on the gent’s chair is a bit narrower than the lady’s chair. The fabric is nice and usable, but the fabric on the top of the lady’s chair could be tightened up a bit. The lady’s chair is 22 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 17 inches high to the seat and 39 inches high to the chair back.

6 Antique 1900's Twisted Wire Ice Cream Parlor Chairs
Very old-early 1900's and none match as each was a hand made work of art. 5 have backs. The 6th is either missing the back or was a stool. Very thick silver paint on them. All need seats but the metal work is solid. I am not going to try to disassemble for shipping as those old bolts will break rather than come apart. Sizes all vary some but seat heights are pretty much 18" Back heights and widths vary about an inch but are roughly 34 1/2" height at back with back being 16" wide. A great set of 6 ice cream parlor chairs. This set dates to the early 1900's and is in need of a refinishing. All of the chairs are structurally sound and have a beautiful design to them. The backs have the heart shaped design and the legs are a twist design that end in pad feet. There are losses to the paint on the seats and the metal frames as well as some light surface rust spots. This will easily come off with a light brushing. There are no rotting areas on the metal. There is also what looks like water damage and cracking on some of the wood seats. The chairs measure 36" high at the highest point on the back. The seat height is 18" and the diameter at the widest area on the seats is 14 3/8" This is a previously owned item that is being sold as shown. Antique formal parlor suite sofa chairs 1914 Davenport Hotel Spokane furniture
Offered here are three fantastic antique furniture pieces from my eclectic antiquities collection. It has been an honor to have them but is now time for someone else to take care of them. These pieces are circa 1914 original furnishings from the Davenport Hotel in Spokane Washington. Claimed to be one of the worlds grand hotels. This furniture suite certainly backs up the that claim. When the hotel closed a several years ago some items were sold, the lady who bought these pieces had them very nicely restored. I acquired them when she left the country. I use them in my office to impress important clients. The quality of these pieces suits the finest of homes. Far nicer than modern furniture. The wood is finely carved mahogany. The fabric is a velvety solid blue grey color with alternating patterns giving an appropriate classic striped look. ... moreThe bottoms are covered in a black fabric. There are no tears. Stains or heavy soiling in the fabric. There is a fresh chip in a creatures“bill” see pic 11. Like the others I've listed these chairs have not had a lot of TLC lately but they are structurally quite sound and need a good wire brushing and some good spray paint to bring them into first class shape. Five Twisted Steel Vintage Ice Cream Parlor Chairs Robin Egg Blue
These chairs are all in very good condition and are sturdy and stable. Some paint loss. Chips and scrapes. Surface rust and spots. All are painted in a shade of Robin Egg Blue. 3 are the same color and 2 are the same. Not sure if the seats are original. But they appear to be due to the way they are cut and notched on bottom. Again, I cannot guarantee if the seats are original. Chairs are 33 1/2"H. Seat is 18" from floor and 14 1/2" diameter. Chair Back is 16 1/2"H and 15" wide. Victorian Style Lady and Gent Parlor Chairs, 1900-1950, America
Offered here is a beautiful 2 piece set of Lady& Gent Parlor chairs with high relief carved rose crests. Gracefully shaped cabriole legs, and button& channel back. I think the wood is cherry. When I purchased them from an estate sale 18 years ago, I was told they were Reproduction(c. 1940) After doing some research I think they may have come from the George Shell company which originated in Montgomery, Alabama in 1939, and within a year or two became Pelham, Shell& Leckie Co. There are no labels. The structure is solid, upholstery is in good condition-better than age appropriate, and the wood is nearly perfect.
