This is a pair of french style arm chairs made by the Mazor Masterpiece Store. Which was located at 911 7th st. Washington, D.C. from 1937-1980. The arm chairs have a country french straight leg design covered in gold fabric. Unfortunatley the fabric is damaged on one chair and stained on both. The chairs are very sturdy structually. They are a good size. The measurements are 34" high and 22" wide at the back, 28" wide and 21" deep on the seat, 17 1/2" high to the top of theremovable cusion and 10 1/2" high from the floor to the top of the frame. We believe these chairs to have their original finish and the cane seats are in excellent antique condition. Each chair measures a total height from the floor to the top of the back of 34 inches. With a seat width of 16 1/2 inches, seat depth of 15 1/2 inches and seat height of 17 3/4 inches and each chair weighs approximately 8 lbs. These 19th century chairs feature a shaped crest-rail. Shield shaped back-splat, cane bottom seats with ring turned stretchers and ring turned front legs and tapered back legs. The chairs go for $150 each. Purchased this set from an antique store in southeastern MN. And paid a pretty penny for it. Measurements 62 inches closed. With two pullout extension leaves(17 inches each) it makes the table 96 inches long. Table is 38 inches wide and 29 inches tall. Comes with 5 ornately carved chairs. For 100 years old it is in pretty nice shape. Small dings as one would expect. But it has been oiled with Ballistol and retains a very rich tone despite being such an antique.

This is a very nice miniature 3 piece set 2 chairs and a settee in solid oak very good condition. There is a little damage to the left seat of the settee but apart from that every thing is fine. Great for dolls or teddy bears or small children. It has to the back like a harp carved, it sits on cabriole legs and l would say it was made in USA. The price is for the 3 pieces. Glorious Needlepoint Antique Handmade Chairs Circa early 1900's
Remarkably well preserved gold brushed velvet chairs covered by gloriously colored needlepoint. Family knows great. Great aunt did needlepoint as bride's gift to new hubby. Family dated chairs early 1900's but antique dealer says 1880's. No documentation. Handmade and carved from birch, these chairs are meant to be loved as they surely were in their beginnings. They are in overall good to very good condition. The Morris chair is missing one of the back pegs. The bow back is missing one seat slat. Set of 6 Press Back, Cane Bottomed Dining Room Chairs circa early 1900's
Set of six press back. Caned bottom dining chairs, circa 1890 to 1950. The chairs are in good condition and are believed to be maple. They all retain their original finish but are in different degrees of wear. Two of the chairs were obviously used more often than the others as they show a difference in color where the finish has been worn. These two chairs also appear to have a lacquer type finish applied at some time as they are shinier than the other four. The original finish is unknown. It is not paint as we know it. I have been told that it could very well be some home made concoction which could include ox blood, coffee or whatever. You will note in the close up photo of the press back design that some of the original finish has flaked off. The chairs have all been cleaned and re-caned. The story of the chairs: My husband and I went to a local auction of a deceased spinster school teacher. She had a vast array of antiques handed down through several generations. As we wove our way through the maze of bed frames. Dressers, boxes and other paraphernalia stacked around the perimeter of the house, I spied three weary looking chairs with broken caned seats. We walked on around and there were two more chairs, much nicer looking with worn plastic caned seats. These matched the original chairs and I felt it was a shame to split them up and I also couldn’t imagine why someone would have a set of five chairs. We purchased the three chairs first, then the two chairs; understand, I didn’t need the chairs, I just couldn’t stand seeing them being separated. As the sale drew to a close and we were wilting from the heat, the auctioneer’s assistant started rummaging threw a pile of“stuff” right beside us. Unbelievably there in the pile was the sixth chair, in about three pieces. I looked at the guy and said“that matches the chairs we bought” He took his foot and slid the pieces over to us and said“
