You would place a sake cup on the top and when poring the sake any spill-over would go down into this cup so it would not be wasted. Very classy way to serve sake! The cup measures at 3-1/4" Wide and 2-1/2" Tall, with the saucer being 4-1/8" Diameter. Condition is Very Good, please look to my photos.
