This is an architectural salvage piece and has some slight surface ... morescratches to the 49 1/8" long x 24" deep x 1 3/4" thick console top which is composite material(black w/white flake) And should polish out as the color goes all the way through. There is also a 45 3/4" long x 1/4" wide slot, 1/4" from the back edge of the top which I assume is for a back splash(not included) The side and front edges have an ogee detail, it is drilled out for an 8" center faucet(not included) and the oval sink cutout measures 18 1/8" wide x 14 1/2" deep. The counter top is marked on the bottom" ID SURFACE? and THIS SIDE DOWN" When you look at the bottom you can see the color goes all the way through. The sink is an under mount, American Standard in white, measures about 23" wide x 18" front to back, and is 7 1/2" deep to bottom of drain. This comes with the mounting screws and brackets shown, no drain hook-ups, see pictures for detail, there is a chip out of the under side of the sink but is not noticeable from the top nor does it effect the stability of the unit. The sink and counter top weigh aver 60#s. The legs are a polished cast brass and come with the screws for mounting it to the under side of the console. They weig h about 13#s apiece. These have some scuffing and will need to be polished out. The apron is in great c ondition. It isn't as scuffed as the legs. This part weighs nearly 6#s. See all pictures for condition detail. The front apron measure 25 7/8" long x 3 3/4" high. this also has the 4 mounting screws. A beautiful focal point piece for any new build or remodeling project. Antique Oak 2 Drawer Chest Black Painted Sides Country Style
This antique two-drawer chest has tons of character. The wood looks like oak and has been painted black on the sides and around the drawers on the front. Panelled sides and an overhanging molded top as well as molding at the base. Drawers have intricately designed metal pulls and there are circular wooden escutcheons surrounding the two keyholes. Sorry. No keys! The drawers have been assembled with strong doweled joints. Overall. This piece is in good condition, however there is obvious wear as you can see from the pictures. The front corners of the overhanging top have broken away and there is also damage to the framing of the drawer fronts on both sides. Paint and finishes look original, but have some significant wear to them. There are also some small holes in the top that look like they were made by nails. Thomasville Replicas Collection 1800's Four Drawer"Massachusetts Chest" of drawers. It appears to be pine wood and could be used in any room. I have set the TV on it, placed it in the foyer, bedroom, etc. There are great details, inset drawers, English style bun feet, gorgeous solid brass hardware and a very slight white wash to the finish. For sale today is a very nicely restored stagecoach style humpback trunk. I found one patent date of 1877 on the mechanical latches which makes this neat old trunk as much as 136 years old- a true antique. This trunk was in good solid condition when the restoration started and the wood bottom is good. Has had multiple coats of clear applies, has three original slats and the four original metal wheels and they roll fine. The two original hinges are tight, polished, work well and the lid closes well. There is a new leather lid lifter on the trunk. The lid stay is original. There are 20 pieces of polished original hardware on the trunk. The center lock is original, has been polished and there is no key. Antique Half Trunk Nice Restoration Rare Style of Trunk Circa 1840's to 1860's
For sale today is a beautifully restored large flat top trunk with new leather belts. I did not find any patent dates on this trunk and based on 40 plus years restoring trunks I would date this trunk to the 1840's to early1860's which makes this neat old humpback as much as 154 years old- a true antique. Half trunks are a very rare style of trunk. I have restored over 600 trunks in the last 40 plus years and I have had less than 10 half trunks. This trunk was structurally sound when the restoration started and the metal bottom is solid. Has multiple coats of clear and two original slats. The two original hinges are HD, tight and the lid closes well. There are 2 polished pieces of original hardware. The center lock is polished and there is no key. The leather latches are new black leather and work well. The original tray is long gone, ... morea new custom built tray has replaced it and the interior has been removed. The metal/tin is in VGC. The lid stay is new cloth. A new black leather handle was installed on the top with the original end caps. There are 34 polished brass nail covers. Up for bid is a great little 19th century antique pine trunk. Originally manufactured in Baltimore. MD, by"Jas. H. Kiningham" at the"Trunk& Bag Manufactory" at 68 N. Gay. St. The trunk, probably originally having either paper or leather that covered the presently refinished pine exterior, is all but gone. Other than a slight bit of dust, this trunk is in fine condition and has all it's original paper liner inside, as well as a hidden compartment in the lid, along with a colorful picture on the door or flap. An original paper label still is intact at the bottom interior of the trunk. The trunk sits on four iron wheels and rolls easily. The shape resembles that of a loaf of bread, so given the name of a"Breadloaf" truck. There is a hasp-like clasp on the front, but no key. The primary wood and veneers appear to be walnut or a similar hardwood with what appear to be oak and pine/poplar secondary woods. Dimensions: 12.25" high x 17" wide x 9.75" deep. Weight: 11 lbs. Wonderful antique wooden storage trunk made by B. C. Sweetser& Sons of Portsmouth. N.H. in 1875. We were able to date the trunk as it originally was lined with old newspaper dated June 1875. The newspaper was removed as it was heavily water stained, torn, brittle and musty. We were able to save the original manufacturer label in the center of the interior of the lid. Interior is now clean and can be used to store items. The exterior is original(not refinished, only cleaned) with a warm dark wood patina; original lock(no key) and iron handles. Dome style lid. Original brass tacks on exterior. Solid original bottom. Great trunk for the collector! Measures 28 inches by 15 inches; 12 inches tall on the sides. This unusual antique candle box measures 260mm(10' x 100mm(4' x 150mm(6' high and weighs 540 grams excluding the candles. It is in the shape of an early Georgian bread box or coffer on simple turned legs and dates to the late 1800's early 1900's with a hinged lid to reveal the candles. The oak has a really good colour and would benefit from a good polish and there is an old repair to one leg(photo6) which only adds to its rustic charm. Made by the Whittle Trunk and Bag company, founded in Knoxville TN in 1880. You can check the photos for the condition, but it is all basically in good and working condition, except the leather handles. Measures 15 inches wide by 17 inches tall and 26 1/4 inches long. It comes as pictured. Whatever else may have been part of it originally. Such as a cloth lining, removable tray, and a set of keys, I don't have them. The previous owner put shipping tape over the wheels. I would guess that was to make sure they didn't fall out, maybe? UNIQUE Antique Toy/Child's/Doll Trunk - FULLY RESTORED - TARTAN PLAID STYLE!!!
Up for bid is a UNIQUE. Antique, Tartan Plaid, Toy/Child's/Doll Trunk- FULLY RESTORED and ready to display your treasures! Measurements: 8" length- 4" height- 4" width.TINY! I felt that the only way to restore this tiny trunk and keep it's unique. Dramatic tartan style/personality was to replace the tartan plaid exterior instead of just removing it. The original personality would have been lost forever and there are less and less of these darling little tartan covered trunks left to enjoy. It took a lot of shopping to find a tartan plaid with similar bright colors found in the original paper. I was unable to find material that matched the purple print within the trunk. However, I did find a blotchy tea colored material that looks old and stained like the original. Please look at all the pictures provided to see that ... morethis trunk is now strong. Functional, and striking with its Tartan personality! I adore this little trunk, however, I will be the first to say that it is NOT PERFECT and never was; which is part of its charm.=) Now look at the two pictures of its before restoration condition(more pictures are available upon request) The lid was/is not square and does not sit correctly on top of the trunk. To make matters worse, the latch was not centered and in addition, the two parts of the latch were not lined up properly. The consequences were that one of the hinges had undue pressure put on it until the wood/hinge broke off. The wood had to be reinforced and the hinges reinstalled with clinch nails to repair the damage. The repair was made to coordinate with the style of the trunk with its red painted trunk slats and red tray supports. The hinges have added support from the two, lid stay straps too. We want those tiny hinges to last as long as possible and two lid straps instead of one will help support the hinges. Please see pics. The latch also had to be removed and reattached with clinch nails. Latching the trunk will no longer twist the trunk lid and cause the hinges/wood to break. I con

Very unusual 1600 century reproduction of an English"ARK" chest. The trunk chest could easily be confused as an Arts and Crafts chest with hand made construction techniques and exposed tenons and pegs. The blanket chest measures about 36" long x 18" deep x 20 1/2" tall. The tenons extend about 1" additionally on each side. The top and all sides are fastened with through tenons and pegs as pictured. The sides have lapped oak boards and the top has a slight angled"ark" type design. The chest is constructed of solid oak with what appears to be it's original finish.
