Qty. 3 Vintage Brass Plated Casement Window Fasteners/Locks- Fanarc Manufaturing Co. Inc. No. 176- original screws are included, no packaging. The master box is falling apart and although is in the picture it is not included just pictured it to show the information on it. The base of the lock is approximatley 1 7/8" x 1 1/8" and the keeper is approximately 2 1/2" x 3/4" and the handle turn is approximately 2" long. I did not clean them becuase some people like the"chippy" look. The paint does come off relatively easy. All of them turn freely. Some need a little more effort than others but all do move easily. These are not solid brass, they are some sort of cast brass because they are magnetic. You will receive 6 screws with eash set as well. You’re just not going to find this at your local home center. This is a swing arm type lock with what some refer to as an Eagle claw. The keeper is the right type and from the same time period but it’s not the original one for this lock. The working condition is good with normal dings and scratches and some specks of old paint. It has a Patent date on bottom of the lock that I think ... moreis 1893. Lock and keeper were given a fast cleaning and wiped down with an oiled rag but other than that it’s being sold in as found condition. Keep in mind the authentic antique ones are becoming very hard to find in this condition. Approximate measurements are lock 2” x 1 ¼” and the keeper being 2 ¼” x ¾” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. Please take a look at the many other antique hardware items I have listed.
