Offering this set of 39 cast iron window sash cord pulleys. These pulleys were recently removed from my circa 1925 home. All are in original uncleaned condition and in working condition. The front face plate of the pulleys measure approximately 4" long. 1" wide, with the holes 3 1/4" apart on center. Overall depth of the pulleys is about 1 3/4" and the diameter of the wheel is also 1 3/4" I am also including 5 additional pulleys, for a total of 44 in this lot. I have separated the five because the pins that hold the pulley wheel in place have loosened and can be pulled out from the housing. The pins are not damaged. These pulleys are very solid and built to last. These are a rare matched set of 4 Victorian ornate cast iron window sash locks. With the remains of original paint and a fine film of rust, making for a wonderful patina that only comes with age. These measure 2 1/4" long on the backplates x 1" wide. The half circles are 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" wide. These have raised lettering on the back PAT. JAN.4& JUNE 13 1876. There are no chips or cracks. The two shown in the picture together have the numbers 5 and 2 printed on them. Not sure about the 2. Could be a 3) One weighs 5 lb 5 oz. and the other weighs 5 lb 8 oz. The one shown by itself is a different style with no markings on it. It weighs 5 lb 8 oz. Window weights are 90 years old. They are cast iron. So they have rusted over time. There is obvious corrosion to the metal, but they still perform the function they were meant to perform. The hole where the sash would loop through is still in good structural condition. These hook together cleanly using the hook through the eye which has a narrow side for that purpose(see photo 2) When hanging and therefore straightened out. They can not come apart because narrow side is turned. This hooking together allows multiple weights depending on the size of the window. These are probably 1st half twentieth century.
