Antique pair of exterior shutters with tree cutouts. Top layer of peeling chipped paint is white and under that is a vintage green. These strong and sturdy panel shutters are 1 3/8" thick with no warping or rot. They are very well made. They are really awesome. I have many more. They are all from an old house in MA. INTERIOR ~ 3 Paneled VICTORIAN LOUVERED window house shutters 84" H x 54" W #2
This a nice interior shutter featuring a diamond paneled bottom. It is comprised of 3-18" panels providing for a 54" overall width. One panel could easily be removed to achieve a 36" width. Five of the louvers have been replaced on this one. The hinges joining the panels are in good working condition. Hinges to attach the outer panel to your window will be required. This is set#2 of three identical sets I have for sale. I would rate this one in very good condition. They have been stored indoors in a heated environment. I will also be listing several sets of excellent exterior shutters with original blue and green paint. These are well made vintage shutters that may have scratches. Marks, cracks or other characteristics typical of an item this age.

PAIR c1850~ RED PANELED HOUSE SHUTTERS w/HARDWARE~ANTIQUE~VICTORIAN

One side is red and the other side is a darker red-like a maroon. This is one complete pair. The shutter hardware is included but I don't have the hardware that attaches to the house. They are the mortise and tenon design and feature wooden peg joinery. These are in very good condition for their age. The frames are still tight and rigid with a little bit of weakness where the latches are on the bottom. The latch on the bottom of the left shutter is loose and will have to be strengthened. The hinges and locks are attached to the shutters but I don't have the other hinge that attaches to the house. The last photo shows the beautiful red color of the front ... moreshutters better than the photos of the actual shutter listed-I included this last photo so you can get an idea of the exact color. I have more and will combine shipping! These are well made vintage shutters that have scratches. Marks, cracks or oth er characteristics typical of an item this age. These particular shutters are hard-to-find! Get them while you can! I am listing a 42(21 pair) of shutters from a house built in 1850. I am still taking them out of the barn so I am not sure of exact sizes yet. I have both louvered(movable) and panelled. They are all red and come from the same house.
