The frame(2” thick) is painted on both sides and is sturdy with no rotting or other condition issues. In the frame. It measures 65”w x 16”h and the measurement for the glass only is 60”w x 11 1/2”h. The border of the window is textured glass and the foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Then“paint” it with glue, then put it into a low fired kiln so when it’s fired, it actually“rips” the glass and creates the pattern. The lead veins are strong with no breakage or bowing. Antique Vintage Above Door Transom Window with Hardware
This transom window includes the original wavy glass. It measures 3' wide by 1'4" tall. Also included is the original transom hardware and the total weight is approx. 8 pounds. The house this window came from was approx 100 years old and has been recently torn down and is shown. Meticulously restored by sanding layers of paint down to the wood and using steel wool on the wavy window and the hardware. There was no rotten wood on the window.

This is a used Complete Victorian Window Transom with operating hardware. only missing the screws to mount. The Transom bracket or lift opener is 36" long. Has all the hardware or brackets. all steel. all in working order. Has 2 brackets for sliding the lift opener up and down. 1 bracket to attach to window for opening. This has a steel tab which hooks in the slid opener rod. hinged rod attached secure and works fine. has the 2 finger release clamp in working order. still has tension. rod slides through the clamp. the bottom of lift opening rod has the flat finger hold for opening. All of these parts are steel and in working order. all are painted white and a few layers. the window has both hinges. the half side of hinge is 1" x 2 1/2" long. both work and have the original pins. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. This is a great piece. The frame is rectangular but the glass forms an arch. There are 14 pieces of glass separated by wood mullions. All the glass is beveled all the way around. There are no cracks or breaks. The frame is pine and is unpainted. It measures 48 inches wide by 17.75 tall and is 1.5 thick at the crown molding. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The frame has cracks on both sides and will need a couple of screws to secure. Easy Fix. The glazing putty around the glass needs to be filled in. Please look at the pictures carefully. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OAK AND FROSTED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW. MEDIUM WOOD TONE.
This is an old above door transom window. One side of glass is a frosted with a rippled texture while the other side is smooth. It is made out of a beautiful multi patterned medium oak color. It measures 26 long X 14 3/4" tall and 3/4" thick. The glass is set in the middle of the 3/4" width. As you can see from the picture. One of the strips that holds the glass in on the side is missing. It does not affect the glass moving. Also there is a Piece of wood missing on the end of the outside. The strip on the outside of the window needs a nail or two to hold it snug. It can be restored or you can use it as a decorative piece, or a cupboard door or medicine cabinet door. The wood is beautiful and has a nice hand finished look. No shellac.
