The paint can be soaked off easily with stripper leaving a shiny brass finish. Or it can be left on for antiquing. They are all made of a heavy duty cast brass except for the steel bolt. Steel washer and steel springs. The mounting holes are set on 2 1/8" centers. Condition: These pieces are in very good working condition. They are still covered with an original white paint. Description Antique sash fasteners stamped'J Faulkner Registered 5707' with an unusual catch and enamel finial. Probably dating from Circa 1870. They have been cleaned and polished. Sold singly.
