These have an excellent authentic aged look with layers of various colored paint peeking out beneath the white overcoat(s) There are no breaks. Chips or cracks in the glass. Windows need cleaning of film, cobwebs, dirt, etc. One of the panes is charmingly and slightly mismatched in a light aqua, others less obviously so(maybe made before standardized glass batches. These are sturdy and well-constructed heavy windows. With a few small and limited age cracks to wood at one of the joints, old painted-over former latch or lock hardware locations, and great old-style construction. These were salvaged in the late 1990s off an old house being demolished near Salisbury. Connecticut. Each measures approximately 31" across by 29" tall by 1 1/8" thick. THIS IS A PIECE I BOUGHT FROM A SALVAGE DEALER. IT IS 26" WIDE X 18" HIGH X 1 3/4" THICK IT IS AN OLD ARCHED STYLE WINDOW WITH 4 UNBROKEN WINDOW PANES IN A SOLID WOOD CASED FRAME. THE FRAME IS VERY STURDY AND THICK AT 1 3/4" IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE'S A FEW SPOTS THAT THE WOOD SLIGHTLY SEPERATED BUT IT IS FULLY INTACT AND THE GLASS IS VERY SECURE. This old 8-pane swing window was salvaged from a house in Jacksonville. Florida. It still has the original chippy white paint which gives it that old, shabby look. All the glass is amazingly present with no cracks. The frame piece on the side is still attached with a 30-inch long hinge. The hardware is also still attached. It measures 17" side to side without the side piece. Which is another 1 1/2" wide, and 48" high. The side piece is 53" high.
