Please look closely at the pictures. The inner latch works are cleverly concealed. These antique locks seem to be in great working condition. They measure 1 3/4" high all put together. The top eagle claw piece measures about 2 1/2" wide, the holes are 2" apart. The smaller bottom piece measures 2 3/8" wide and the holes are 1 3/4" apart. Great piece for remodeling. Antique Victorian Eastlake cast iron brass bronze "eagle claw" window sash locks
Two original Antique Victorian cast iron and bronze"eagle claw" window sash locks only no keepers/ catches. Matching original or reproduction keepers can be found online. This exquisitely ornametal window hardware is from the 1880's. The patented Eastlake style 1886. Eagle Claw double hung sash locks were made by the H. B. Ives Company of New Haven, Connecticut. They are original antiques which are made of cast iron and have beautiful bronze handles with a patented dual action lock function. The'arm' is a feathered wing that locks into a(claw on the‘keeper’ or catch not included) The intricately patterned bronze arms or handles turn with ease and are in excellent working condition. Lock measures 2” wide x 1-1/4” deep(maximum dimension) Catch measures 2” wide x 5/8” deep(maximum dimension)
