Very graceful long and narrow antique window frames with great old hardware,1900
This is the third set of three great old window frames I am listing today. Like the other pairs.There is no glass in them. They measure 66.5" tall by 28.5" wide overall. Each of the two narrow windows(14.25"wide) is hinged and designed to open in the middle. The great old slide bolt locking mechanism is typical of old French or Belgian buildings. PAIR ANTIQUE WINDOW LOUVERED WOOD SHUTTERS ORNATE BRASS SHIELD CROWN HARDWARE
We are pleased to offer this wonderful pair of antique. Interior window shutters. The pair are of pine wood construction and feature 3 door, folding design. There are two louvered doors per shutter. The louvered doors are sectioned/divided with a top and bottom louvered section. Each shutter also has an outer paneled door. The panels are recessed and trimmed with molding. These are also divided into an upper and lower section. The shutters retain their original and ornate brass knobs and back plates. They also retain their lower locking mechanism. This is also brass and is quite ornate. When the doors are closed, this creates a shield and crown design. The upper locking mechanism is no longer present and is missing. The shutters are in good condition with expected wear and an aged condition. The louvers slide freely but not all of them stay ... moreopen and do need adjusting to correct. They are quite lovely. This transom window includes the original wavy glass. It measures 3' wide by 1'4" tall. Also included is the original transom hardware and the total weight is approx. 8 pounds. The house this window came from was approx 100 years old and has been recently torn down and is shown. Meticulously restored by sanding layers of paint down to the wood and using steel wool on the wavy window and the hardware. There was no rotten wood on the window.

This is a lot of 8 original Antique Victorian cast iron and bronze"eagle claw" window sash locks. This exquisitely ornametal window hardware is from the 1880's. The patented Eastlake style 1886. Eagle Claw double hung sash locks were made by the H. B. Ives Company of New Haven, Connecticut.They are original antiques which are made of cast iron and have beautiful bronze handles with a patented dual action lock function. The'arm' is a feathered wing that locks into a claw on the‘keeper’ or catch. The intricately patterned bronze arms or handles turn with ease and are in excellent working condition.
