Welcome! You are bidding on an old Late 1800s Antique 8-Pane Basement Window with five panes of bumpy'crinkle' original glass. And one old pane of bumpy glass that looks like fossils. One pane has been replaced with modern transparent glass and one has been removed for a dryer vent, so there are 6 panes of very old glass still in this window and uncracked. Window was removed from an old home in a better section of University City, Missouri(a suburb of St. Louis, Mo) There is a piece of old Masonite that the dryer vent went through. Wood and paint are old and appropriately worn/aged for their age-fantastic patina! Images show damage where a lock was attached and holes where the hinges were attached(hinges and screws included with window-I do not know if the hinges are original to this old window or not. OLD Salvage 8-Pane Shabby WINDOW SASH Chippy Paint
This old 8-pane swing window was salvaged from a house in Jacksonville. Florida. It still has the original chippy white paint which gives it that old, shabby look. All the glass is amazingly present with no cracks. The frame piece on the side is still attached with a 30-inch long hinge. The hardware is also still attached. It measures 17" side to side without the side piece. Which is another 1 1/2" wide, and 48" high. The side piece is 53" high. I have more windows in other sizes which you can find in my ebay store under windows. These windows are old from 1964 and in great condition especially considering they are over 40 years old. This window does have several layers of paint. One side is in almost perfect condition painted with an off white cream color with no loose glaze or peeling paint. The other outside of the window is white with some loose glaze and peeling as to be expected. But it is in great to excellent condition with the wood frame stil ... morestrong as it originally was when first installed and also just as sturdy. Please note that although the window does look like it has a pink tone in the picture, it absolutely does NOT. Again, one side is white and one side is an off white cream color.
