I'm offering NINE PAIRS of vintage wood shutters salvaged from an antique home in Connecticut. The shutters feature a crescent or quarter moon cut out. Board and batten construction, and original hardware. Each shutter measures 56" x 15.5" x 3/4" and is p ainted a dark red with older green paint visible on the reverse side. I'm not sure of age. But I would guess first half of the 20th century. The house dated to the teens or 1920s. They appear to be older judging from the hardware and quality of construction, but I'm not an expert. Condition Enlarge photos to closely ... moreexamine them for condition. They are a critical part of the description. Every shutter is shown front and back between the two group pictures on each end. Great condition for their age. No significant rot or decay. Weathered. Or naturally distressed from years of being outside in the elements. Unfortunately. I couldn't clean them because my hose is shut off for the winter, so they are dirty in the pictures, but should clean up well. Please ask any questions before bidding.
