3 Vintage 25" RICHARDS WILCOX Iron Arrow Strap Barn Door Hinges
This set of 3. Old, iron strap hinges are signed" RICHARDS-WILCOX" and probably date to 1900-1950( the company dates to the 1880s) Each arrow shaped strap measures 24" long x 2 3/3" where it holds the pin x 1/4" thick. The arrow tip is 2 1/2" tall x 2" The hinge has a removable 4" x 1/2" thick pin and a 8" tall x 2 1/2" wide back plate for mounting to the building. Part of the strap overlaps onto the back plate when everything is assembled so the total length of everything together is 25" All three pieces have old black paint with hints of red trim that is flaking- my guess is that it's original although the red could have come from a barn. Antique Wrought Iron Barn Door Strap Hinges With Bean End 21 Inches Long 18th century This pair of antique strap hinges were hand hammered by a blacksmith. They do have the usual rust and surface corrosion. Expected of a piece this age. I also note a small area on the"back" of the one hinge where a piece of the metal is flaking upward. Its nothing major. The area measures about 2 inches long and at the widest point, 1 inch. see photo) Other than the above the hinges are straight. These type of hinges can be used on barns or other out buildings. Even doors on stone homes, or log structures. The pins used with these hinges can usually be purchased at perhaps a local hardware store or on online. The Hinges measure approx. 21 inches long and 2 inches at widest point.

Vintage Lot Of Cast Iron Strap And T Hinges 6" to 14" 12 Pairs Total
Up for bid is a lot of old hinges I came across recently. I'll start with the big ones. There are 2 pairs of 14" 2 pairs of 10" 6 pairs of 6" in the strap ones and in the T ones there are 4 pieces at 7 3/4" and one piece at 12 1/2" As you can see in the pics a few need a bit of straightening.
