I have an unusual pressed or stamped. Nickel plated steel lot of 8 old door latches for your consideration. These could be in nice reusable condition with a little cleaning and lube. All the springs seem to be intact and work. A little sticky on a couple. I am uncertain of there age although my guess would have been from a wooden built in cabinet or cupboard door from the late 20's early 30's. They have a deco pattern on handles. Nicely, these appear to have had a flush strikeplate application so you will be able to find something that would work more easily. Might be a nice addition for a reworked piece of furniture or cabinet/cupboard door. measure 1 7/16 inches from ctr to ctr of mounting screw holes. Also included are other old latchs and latch housings and odd catches that I thought someone might be able to use. I have a set of three very old ice box hinges in good functional condition. Pins are tight for reuse. These are textured cast brass with nickel plating that is quite distressed. Would clean up some although do not know to what extent. The undersides nickel plate condition closer to original. Marked as a 9/16 inch offset. In other words. Door reveal extended 9/16 of an inch from cabinet or box jamb face. Many other possible repurpose uses in cabinet or furniture renovations or repairs. These measure slightly under 4 x 2 inches. I am including a damaged one that could be repaired if you need a fourth for your project. See last pic. Questions welcome other wise what you see is what you get. I have a pair of what appear to be very old ice box latch handles for your consideration. There is a left and a right and have a off set of approx 1/4 of an inch. Solid cast brass with nickel plate manufacture. Early manufacturer markings on back of handles. Lots of opportunities for repurpose with cabinets. Chests, boxes and other furniture to bring some real character to the piece. Handles pivot nicely with some wear to the hinge pin. You will have to find or fabricate some sort of catch or strike depending on your application. Some old paint and grime that should clean up some. Antique 1897 Ornate Brass Door Latch Handle Ice Box Cabinet Cupboard Hardware
For bid is an ornate antique brass latch or handle for an ice box or cabinet. This ornate latch has a patent date of June 29. 1897 and is marked"52" and"L" for left side. It measures 3 15/16" long, x 2 1/8" wide, and 2 5/8" wide with the latch. The latch moves up and down but it is missing the bottom spring- see photos. The handle/pull has a very slight bend; one pin holding the handle in is loose- may need to be tapped with a hammer or maybe its supposed to be that way. It is in the original, as found condition with an aged patina. There is no key or keeper/receiver.

Set of 4 vintage nickel plated steel cabinet or cupboard door latches with catches. They are not marked the manufacturer is unknown. The nickel finish is in great condition has only some minor scratches. They look as if they have never been used and if they have they were very well cared for. All 4 function as they should. Matching set of vintage cabinet hardware: door latches. Use for Hosier Cabinet or other door latch. 2 1/8 inch by 1 1/2 inch both work and have both the latch and the catch included. I have some screws that were in with these and they will be included. Do not know if they were original to each latch. Age unknown. the one has more wear than the other one.
