I have an unusual pressed or stamped. Nickel plated steel lot of 8 old door latches for your consideration. These could be in nice reusable condition with a little cleaning and lube. All the springs seem to be intact and work. A little sticky on a couple. I am uncertain of there age although my guess would have been from a wooden built in cabinet or cupboard door from the late 20's early 30's. They have a deco pattern on handles. Nicely, these appear to have had a flush strikeplate application so you will be able to find something that would work more easily. Might be a nice addition for a reworked piece of furniture or cabinet/cupboard door. measure 1 7/16 inches from ctr to ctr of mounting screw holes. You are bidding on an early cupboard. Cabinet, or door twist latch lock. It is made out of brass. It is quite heavy. It measures about 2 7/8" x 2 1/2" and 2 1/2" high(from top of twist handle to where it would sit flush with door) It is in very good working condition. I see no makers names. I dont have the catch for this latch. This latch has a nice looking old patina. I am not sure of the age of this latch. This latch is in very good condition. The latch is solid cast iron and nothing like the pressed junkie steel ones you’ll find at a home center. These are usually referred to as utility latches because of the wide range of uses. I’ve seen these used on transom windows, cabinets, casement windows almost anyplace you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right ... moreor left hand side of door or window. The latches are cast iron and the keepers are steel. The keepers are not original to the latches but are the correct type for them. The condition is very good with the latches having age darkening dings and scratches and loss of finish from age. These are still somewhat stiff to turn and are not all wobbly like many I come across. All I did to these was a quick wipe down with an oiled rag. The approximate measurements of the latch base are 1 1/2” x 1 3/8” The T-handle or grasp is 1 5/8” across. The keeper is 1 ½” wide at its widest point x 1 ½” Circ. about the middle of last century. Pair Antique Cast Iron Brass Bronze Finger Pull Cupboard Cabinet Lock Latch
This is a vintage Pair of antique finger grip or pull Cupboard or cabinet latches or locks. Both are the same style and shape. The latches are cast iron with a bronze or brass plating on the edges. finger pulls work fine. When pulled they both go back in place. Very nice condition. The latches or locks is 1/2" and about 1/2" thick. The latch measures 2 1/4" wide and is 1 1/4" not counting finger pull with finger pull 2 1/8" x 1/2" thick. These antique cast iron turn buttons are 2- 1/16" long and 9/16" wide. They were used to hold doors closed. Such as those found on dry sinks, jelly cupboards, or primitive cabinets. They were also used to hold things in place such as covers and tools. These have most of their original black japanned finish. Where the finish is gone, the cast iron is a little rusty. There are casting numbers on the backs, 60" and"6" but no other markings. We are including 2 period slotted steel screws to attach them. The screws are 3/4" long overall(exposed thread of 1/2" This is a nice pair of turn buttons that would look great on many old primitive cabinets. If you have any questions. Please ask.

antique ice box cupboard latch handles vintage architectural furniture hardware
I have a pair of what appear to be very old ice box latch handles for your consideration. There is a left and a right and have a off set of approx 1/4 of an inch. Solid cast brass with nickel plate manufacture. Early manufacturer markings on back of handles. Lots of opportunities for repurpose with cabinets. Chests, boxes and other furniture to bring some real character to the piece. Handles pivot nicely with some wear to the hinge pin. You will have to find or fabricate some sort of catch or strike depending on your application. Some old paint and grime that should clean up some.
