OLD BRASS PLATED SWING DROP DOWN DOOR GATE CABINET ICE BOX LATCH
Old estate find. This auction is for a vintage brass plated[ nickel? finish latch. This is the type that you would just drop down the lever to lock or pull up to open. It is as found and there is some paint on the finish of the keeper along with some finish wear inside the keep slot were the lever would be inserted[ see photos. I'm not sure where this was original used, possibly some type of ice box to have the type of finish it has. Any cleaning/polishing is left up to the new owner. Each piece measures 2" x 2" and the lever is 3 1/4" long with a knob type pull. Weight of both is 10.8oz.
