W e've brushed it off and given it a wash. No oil. I t could use a little more love. All our wood pulley hay mow pieces are from old working barns. And every pulley listed ha s been heavily used for decades and then left hanging in the barn for many more years. The barn is not hea ted and no one remembers if the roof ever had a spell where it didn't leak. Between use. Age and typical farm storage none of the wooden wheels are in pristine condition.There are nicks chips splits cracks flakes furs insect-munches raccoon-tastings and who knows what else nibbles. Someone has put thick wire on the top in place of the loop so I do believe they used it like that. Even with the broken loop it would still make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection of antique barn tools. Steampunk, or just pulley collection. The wheel is 6 inches in diameter, and it is approx. 10 inches high.

Here we have an antique pulley made out of cast iron. The hook is also cast iron. Along with the 2 pieces on the bottom. This piece is obviously used and is being sold as is. All of the pieces that are supposed to be able to move, can move very well. The wheel has a 4" diameter and the whole piece is 11" tall from the top of the hook to the bottom metal pieces. The rope groove on the wheel is 1" wide. The ring at the top is also a swivel and turns 360 degrees. The pulley wheel has some wear on it. The iron has a most of the original black paint on it and the cast iron is nicely textured from rust. Here is a very cool looking. Antique pulley with a wooden wheel. The wooden wheel is in great condition. The cast iron frame has a unique design, and is in decent condition with some original red paint still remaining. The frame still contains original markings of"LOUDEN" This rustic wheel has a 6" diameter and is 1.5" wide. The whole thing is 10" tall. This is a very neat, old pulley that would make a great addition to any industrial steampunk look. We have many other cool pieces, don't forget to check them out!
