These are usually referred to as utility latches because of the wide range of uses. I’ve seen these used on transom windows, cabinets, casement windows almost anyplace you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The latches are cast iron and the keepers are steel. The condition is very good with the latches having age darkening dings and scratches and loss of finish from age. All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag. The approximate measurements of the latch base is 2 1/8” x 1 1/8” The handle or grasp is 2 ½” The keeper is 1 ½” wide x 1 7/8” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope.
