Old farm estate find. This auction is for a pair of spring hinges for either a storm door of gate. They were painted and look shabby but work perfectly with plenty of tension on the springs. Pair of Antique Champion screen door hinges unused old stock 1915
This is a pair of spring loaded stamped steel screen door hinges. They are marked"Champion" on one side. And"Pat July 6 1915" on the other. Each hinge is 2- 5/8 inches wide, 3" long, and has 6 screw holes for mounting. Although they have never been used, they have some chips to the finish and some rust form being stored over the years. We are offering this neat pair of vintage self closing screen door hinges. Nickel plated. These are marked- The Bommer Spring Hinge and are patented 1903 and 1915. Measure 4 1/2" high overall. The hinge area is 2 3/4" wide x 3" high. It took us awhile to figure out how these worked. You put a pin in one of the top holes to set how much tension you want on the spring. A really neat idea.
