2 Heavy Duty Antique Solid Brass Ice Box Hinges& 2 Solid Brass Lock Sets The 2 door hinges measure 10" long overall by 4 1/2" at support. The hinge at door is 7" long by 2 1/2" at swivel. The support is 4 1/2" wide by 3" long to the swivel. One door lock measures 8" long including handle x 3" wide and 4 3/4" long x 1 7/8" wide for the support. The smaller lock is 6 3/4" to handle x 2" wide and 4" long x 1 1/4" for the support. The total weight without packaging is 7 3/4 pounds. These are heavy duty!

NICKEL plating over brass core. Item has been cleaned(came to me with chipping paint on all) and is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with some minor loss of nickel plating where brass is peeking out from its many years of service. Probably dates to 1920's-1930's. In GREAT working order. Overall length is 4 1/4" long and 2 7/8" wide. The short wing is 1 1/4" by 2 7/8" wide. Antique Ice Box Hinges, Latch, Handle, Screws
These hinges came from an icebox located in a house in Aquebogue. NY. The house was built arount 1906 for a potato broker from Connecticut who housed potential potato buyers. The condition of these items is very good. There are no breaks or chips. The hinges are brass with a dark brass patina from age. There are three hinges, a door latch and a door handle and screws that are original. The back of each hinge is marked with the number 14. Each hinge tongue measures 14 inches. Each hinge measures overall 18 1/4 inches. The thickness of each hinge is 3/16 inches. Each hinge weights 3.8 oz. The handle weighs 4lbs 4 oz. The bolt is steel. The original screws are brass slot heads. The weight of the screws is 1 lb. 4 oz.

Vintage Antique Ice Box Refrigerator Door Hinges Latches Handles Nickel Brass
Nice Antique Hinges! I have several other items up for sale so please check out my other auctions. These hinges and latches were removed from an old wooden cooler door left in the basement of a late 1800's building. The hinges were completely covered in paint- now"mostly" removed. The paint appears to have preserved the plating nicely. Since only the door was there. The catches for latches and screws for the hinge ends are not included. Two of the hinges appear to have been filed down at the very back possibly to make them fit somewhere. The hardware is solid brass as is evident by the filed down parts. They appear to be Nickel plated. There is a slight bend and stress crack on one of the hinges(shown) which appears to be a factory flaw. The reason it appears as a factory flaw is shown on the opposite side as what appears to ... morebe a small weld under the nickel plate? The latches need new springs on the inside. Which should be easily acquired from a hardware store. The handles function nicely. And if desired, the springs would be super-easy to install- one screw! I will include the only(broken) spring from the two for comparison. The hinges have a one inch offset. and the straps measure about 4 5/8 inches long. The base of the hinges are about 2 5/8 inches long and about 1 1/8 wide. The latch bases measure 2 3/4 high x 2 1/8 wide. The handles are approximately 4 1/8 long. The latch box is about 3/4" high. to Springtime at Joe’s Garage Stuff 4 Antique Ice Box Chest Offset Nickel Over Brass Hardware Hinges Offered here is four or perhaps two pair of hinges from the old fashion ice boxes or chests. These are the offset type of hinges not the flush. They are nickel plate over brass. Some of the plating has worn off in a couple places(see last pic) Showing the brass underneath. Three of the hinges swing freely. One opens only part way, not all the way back. You would still be able to open the door wide, it simply would not fold back. Possibly a little DW 40 may loosen the rivet. That said, the hinges measure 3 ¾ long by 1 ½” at the hinge and 2” at its widest side piece. The hinges have an elaborate design that looks Celtic or French. The hinges will need a cleaning and screws. The backs of both parts are A 317. So if you are refurbishing ... morean old piece or building new, here is some nice hardware to give the piece that finishing touch. All questions kept private. C. and are chrome over some non-magnetic metal(nickle or brass) The hinges measure 6.25" long(from point to point) The hinge mount plate has a vertical screw offset of 3" on center and a horizontal offset of.75" on center, while the strap vertical offset is 2.125" on center and a horizontal offset of 2.75" on center. The latch base plate measures 5.5" long and the screws have a vertical offset of 2.25" on center and a horizontal offset of 1" on center. These are all original, not reproductions, and they still maintain their original ... morebright chrome finish. T his is an old pair of solid brass ice box hinges. These antique hinges were cast in a very ornate pattern that includes flowers and leaves. They are offset hinges with a 3/8 inch offset. The back is marked 3/8. The larger plate is 2 5/16 inches by 2 1/4 inches wide. The smaller plate is 2 5/16 inches by 1 1/8 inches wide. The brass is 1/8 inch thick. One of the hinge pins is a bit longer than the other. One of the hinges has more tarnish and shows more wear than the other. This is a really pretty pair.

I have a set of three very old ice box hinges in good functional condition. Pins are tight for reuse. These are textured cast brass with nickel plating that is quite distressed. Would clean up some although do not know to what extent. The undersides nickel plate condition closer to original. Marked as a 9/16 inch offset. In other words. Door reveal extended 9/16 of an inch from cabinet or box jamb face. Many other possible repurpose uses in cabinet or furniture renovations or repairs. These measure slightly under 4 x 2 inches. For bid is an old set of solid brass offset hinges that could be used for an ice box. Cupboard, or cabinet. Marked on back"364" and 364 A" and 5/16" which is what the offset measures. I think they date to 1897 as I have some other matching hardware with that patent date. They have been lightly cleaned but not polished to leave the original patina. Measure 3 3/4" long x 2 1/16" across. They move freely and are in great condition- very few scratches. No screws.

HUGE Vintage Ice House Freezer 25" Door Hinges Hardaware- Silver Cast Iron This set of cast iron door hinges are quite unique in that they are the biggest I've ever seen. Included is a set of 3 matching hinges. This hardware was removed from a huge walk-in freezer door from an old cold storage building that was built in the 1930's. The last picture shows the massive door they are off of(doors also available) They are in good shape. But I didn't scrub them completely clean so you could see that they have some age. Dimensions: Hinge total dimensions- 24.5" Long x 8.25" Tall Hinge from center of pin to end- 22" Hinge mount- 8.25" Tall x 4" Wide Each hinge alone is 11 pounds!
