Up for Auction. A beautiful Antique/ Vintage Bent Glass Towel Rod/ Rack made by Kimble Glass bar. The rod is 25" long from end to end and sits off the wall 3" and the glass is 3/4" thick. The mounts have the Kimble markings. This rod is in great shape for it's age, there is 1 very minor knick that is smooth with no sharp edges towards the bottom of the bar, this knick is not visible when mounted so it doesn't take away from the beauty of this piece and I have a photo of this in the listing. This is a very beautiful Jadeite depression era. Measures 17 3/4 inches long. A wonderful condition glass towel rack that can be used in any room or used to display many different items. The green is very pretty. The hardware is original and has some surface rust(I did not try to remove the rust. the hardware lets the rack fit snug into its fitted end so the rack stands firmly away from the wall. The bracket is made of cast iron(the ornate white part that is mounted on the wall) and wood(the part the towel bar is mounted into. These brackets are not removable. You will need a couple of screws to mount them to your wall. The screws can go at the top and bottom holes or you could add a third if needed at the side hole. I would just dab a little white paint on it after installing so it doesnt show: The glass looks nice, no chips or cracks!
