Hi. Here is a vintage Munising wooden footed bowl with a handle. It is approximately 8 1/2" in diameter with a 6" handle and about 2 1/2" tall. It is in great shape with the exception of some scuffing to the varnish on the handle as you can see in the pictures. If you want a better primitive look you could do some additional scuffing. It would look great holding a bunch of rag balls. Thanks.

It measures approx 10 7/8" x 10 1/4" and stands approx 2 1/2" tall. The painted motif of fruit and leaves is well worn and in some areas the paint has worn off completely. I feel no wax on the bowl. It is quite smooth.The interior coloring is darker compared to the exterior(refer to pics) This was purchased from a recent estate sale along with a couple of other wooden bowls which I intend to list soon. Vintage Munising Dough Bowl, Oval 11.75" Primitive yet Elegant, Signed
For auction is a very handsome example of a Munising dough bowl. Based on the mark on the bottom(straight script with rounded top M) this bowl would have been made anywhere from the late 1930's to mid 1950's. My guess. Based on other Munising bowls I've seen, would be early to mid 1940's. This bowl is especially nice because not only is it oval, but it's also slightly lower on one side, which gives it an elegant"swirl" effect. SIZE: It is 11.75" long and 10-3/8" wide. The height at each long end is approx. 2-5/8 inches; but the height on the sides is approx. 2.5" and 2-3/8" respectively. CONDITION: This bowl has been used! The result is a rich patina with color variations throughout. The photographs make it appear brighter than it is. The second photograph is the most representative. And of ... morecourse there are quite a few scratches and worn spots from years of chopping dough. To the touch, the wood has a cool damp feel, which suggests to me that it may have been submerged in water. These bowls should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or sponge and treated periodically with a food grade mineral oil. My advice for this beauty would be to give it a rest for several months and use it to sore hard fruits such as apples, pears, oranges, etc. It will look stunning on a kitchen counter, sideboard, or even as a centerpiece on a dining table. These have been in our family since the 1950s. The woman who originally purchased them was a WWII Marine- a portion of the sale of this item will go to the Wounded Warriors Project. There is one exception of some marks across the design on one small bowl. The wood grain is unique on each piece. These have been gently used. So there is expected minor wear on the wood finish- however, that finish is in quite good condition for its 60+ years. This wooden bowl came from an auction in Vermont. I believe it to be Munising but it is not signed Munising on the back. So I am not positive. This one is signed on the back with by ralphine? see the last picture. T he bowl is not perfectly round. It measures 9 1/4" across in one direction and 8 3/4" across in another. There is some light fuzz on the bowl. Possible from someone wiping it with a cloth before the varnish was completely dry. It has wear/use marks, please see all picture. It weighs 15 ounces.

The Factory has been closed since 1955. This is one of the Larger bowls and is only slightly out of round. It measures approx. 11 3/16 in. x 10 5/8 in. 3 in. Deep(Tall) It is marked 2nd and shows a small knot mark on the inside and outside of the bowl(see photos) The knot in no way affects or affected the use of the bowl. This bowl is hand-painted and outside is treated with what I am assuming to be polyurethane the inside is raw(not oiled or treated) with some watermarks which should easily clean up with steel wool. Offered for auction is a 10 1/2" signed Munising birdseye maple wooden bowl. The Munising factory in Michigan operated from 1911 to 1955. I would say this bowl is from the latter part of that range. It doesn't appear to have been used much. But does have a few minor scratches and scrapes on the interior. Nothing that significantly mars or detracts from the finish. Very nice condition for a bowl that is a least 60 years old. Please use the eBay calculator to determine shipping costs. All bid amounts are in U.S. dollars. This is in quite good condition other than a small spot on the one side and on edge to the finish. No cracks. The bowl measures 8" across one way and 8.5" across the other. The leather tie which goes through the holes on the end of the 6"6.5" long handle is gone as is typical but a leather shoe/boot lace would be a great replacement if you wanted to hang this. I believe this bowl dates to the 1930's or 1940's. It appears to be a very solid hardwood. Perhaps maple. The bowl measures 11-1/8" across one way and 10-9/16" across the other way. It is just under 3" in height. It weighs just under 1-1/2 pounds. This wonderful old bowl is in good shape without any splits or cracks. It does have stains/dark discolorations and chopping marks from use. I'm not sure if the wood was stained or the natural color. Antique Vintage Signed Marked Munising Wood Wooden Dough Bowl with Spoon Paddle
This listing is for an antique or vintage Munising wood bowl with paddle/spoon. This bowl is slightly out of round. Not sure if it was intentionally made that way or if this is from age and use. Either way. It's stated and photographed for your consideration. That being said there are a few measurements to consider. At the shortest diameter distance the bowl measures 10 1/4" in diameter. At the longest diameter distance the bowl measures 11" in diameter. Again. This is from being slightly out of round. The bowl has some heavy scratching from use. Mostly located at the center interior. You can see this in the photos. I know that some people like to sand these out and return them to their original smooth surface. That's being left up to the winning bidder to determine and address. Some rough edges around the diameter of the ... morelip. The bottom and exterior is very clean with almost no scratching. Please note that the bowl has a silky feel to it from being seasoned and treated with food grade oil. The spoon or paddle measures 9 1/4" in length X 5" wide at the widest point. It too has wear and scratching from use with some minor surface splitting near the end. Nothing that goes through though. Overall a great candidate for restoration or to leave it as is to add to your primitive home decor. Should you have any questions or concerns. The tiers measure 7” and 8 ¾” along the long side and is 9” high. There are no chips or cracks and the piece has general wear for its age. The Munising is burned into the bottom of the bottom bowl.
