Wooden pedestal bowl Oregon Myrtlewood
This is a really nice 10" wooden bowl from Oregon's myrtlewood. It has a very nice smooth finish and beautiful grain to the wood. There are no frank blemishes except for a minute area of pink coloration and a tiny scratch on the top(see pictures) obviously from common usage. It is quite old and from an estate.

Bustad's Myrlewood salad bowl's from the 1950's. Myrtlewood is and Elm that grows in Northern California and Oregon. What is for sale are 6(six) 5 3/4 inch salad bowls. They ALL have the original label from Bustad's(a small novelty store) that are in GREAT SHAPE! The bowls have ben used or some of the polish has worn off. It is not even necessary to seal the wood to eat out of them. I am of the opinion that these bowls were only used a couple of times if any as the stickers on the bottom are in excellent condition. This is a great set of wooden bowls. The larger bowl is 8' outside to outside and the smaller bowls are around 5' outside to outside. I think these bowls would need to be sealed before use. I do not know if they have ever been used before.
