This is a great old bowl made from the actual trunk of a Pennsylvania tree! Sold originally by the ELLENVILLE NOVELTY CO. The line is called RUSTICWARE. Likely made in the 1950's. This bowl is unusual because it sits on 3 ball feet and has a silver tone metal cap on the center shaft of the bowl(most of what I've seen sit flat with no feet) It measures 9 3/4" across and 8 3/4" wide by 4" high. There are a couple of chips in the wood around the base- please look at photos carefully. It comes with a metal nutcracker and 2 picks that fit neatly into the slots. The bowl is made of actual wood with real tree bark and is heavily varnished and sealed. It has a felt round on the bottom- the label is missing. It is 7" in diameter.
