Vintage Wooden Munising 13 in. bowl with 8 matching 7 inch hand painted bowls.
Offering for sale a wonderful set of Munising bowls. There is one large 13 in. bowl with 8 matching 7 in. bowls. Keep in mind that the measurements vary depending on where you measure on the bowls since they are hand turned. The smaller bowls are all hand painted in whimsical characters which is what Munising did with some of their wares. Painting is in great condition as are the bowls. No chips. Cracks or repairs. All 9 bowls are marked on the bottom. I believe these to made in the 1960's but wouldn't say for sure. I use tracking/confirmation and request payment within four days of end of auction. This is a set of 2 vintage or antique wood bowls made by Minising. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of their age. Hand made and primitive in appearance, they are slightly oblong and measure about 6 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall. Nicely sized, they will make a charming addition to any room. Six Vintage Munising Wooden Bowls with Hand-Painted Green Design
For Sale: Set of Six Vintage Munising Wooden Bowls 6" in diameter; 2" tall Bowls have a green hand-painted design on lip of bowl. The Munising Company went out of business in 1955. So these are definitely vintage bowls. Munising is engraved in the bottom of each of the bowls. Five of the bowls are in pretty good condition with minor scratches. One bowl has some major scratching on the outside of it. Please look carefully at the pictures to note actual condition. Bowls have handpainted design. Great to use for salad bowls or for decorative purposes.

Here is a cute little Munising bowl from an estate. It features hand painted strawberries throughout the interior. It is a small(7" in diameter) Shallow bowl. It is clearly marked"Munising" on the back. I believe the wood is maple. Very nice condition, no chips or cracks. Very clean, very few scratches. The hand painting is very nice-tiny little dots of yellow on the red berries to look like seeds. The artist even left his mark as a thumb print on one strawberry! Thanks for looking!

Old Vintage Wood Bowl Hand Turned Painted Excellent Patina Munising? 13" NR
Up for consideration is this delightful hand painted. Hand turned wood bowl. Has great patina and measure 13" diameter. Pic#3 shows paint loss in the bowl. There are no cracks in the bowl. Age: I have no idea it's age. So will not even attempt to label it as an antique. It appears to be old but I am really leaving that up to you, the buyer. I photographed the bottom which show small holes which I presume are from some type of lathe. Again, I'm no expert. Picture number 4 and 5 show the true dark wine color lacquer on the bottom and it's wood texture. Someone suggested it might be Munising. I make no claim as to origin or age. VINTAGE MUNISING Wooden Hand painted Ivy Leaves Signed Salad Bowl Set from 1950s
These have been in our family since the 1950s. The woman who originally purchased them was a WWII Marine- a portion of the sale of this item will go to the Wounded Warriors Project. The Munising Wood Products company was established in Michigan in 1911. With operations ceasing in 1955(info from algercounty.com/woodenware/mwphistt) The two-tone ivy pattern on these lovely hand-painted wooden bowls is in very good condition, having been well cared for over the years. There is one exception of some marks across the design on one small bowl. The wood grain is unique on each piece. These have been gently used. So there is expected minor wear on the wood finish- however, that finish is in quite good condition for its 60+ years. Vintage Large Munising wooden bowl 11" fruit canterpiece hand carved footed EUC
This item is in very good used(for decoration only) condition. The item stored fake fruit in it as a centerpiece on a table. Was never used for cooking purposes. It does have a few minor scratches in it but they are very minor. Please look at all the photos as they are considered part of the description. This is a great piece for the avid collector. The large bowl is 11" wide and 2 3/4" tall. The small bowls are 7" wide and 1 1/4" tall. All of the small bowls are signed but the large bowl is not. I am not sure what kind of wood they are made of but hopefully you will be able to identify it by the pictures. The bowls are in very good condition. Vintage Hand Painted Munising Turned Wood Bowl w/ Turn Lines& 3 Feet; oblong shape(slightly out of round) This hand-painted wooden bowl measures 10 7/8" by 11 1/2" by 3 1/4" And is approx 1/2" thick. Made by and marked"Munising" out of Maine. VGC. No cracks or chips in wood. Does have stains and chips in the varnich over the painted decoration. The legs are slightly loose to the touch, but are not falling out and do not appear to have ever been glued. Painted ivy leaf decoration in very good shape. This will ship well protected in a sturdy box with plenty of bubble wrap rate based on destination and choice of mailing method. We are VERY willing to combine shipping.
