$18.00 Shipping Location: Rochester, United States This listing is for an antique or vintage Munising wood bowl with paddle/spoon. This bowl is slightly out of round. Not sure if it was intentionally made ... morethat way or if this is from age and use. Either way. It's stated and photographed for your consideration. That being said there are a few measurements to consider. At the shortest diameter distance the bowl measures 10 1/4" in diameter. At the longest diameter distance the bowl measures 11" in diameter. Again. This is from being slightly out of round. The bowl has some heavy scratching from use. Mostly located at the center interior. You can see this in the photos. I know that some people like to sand these out and return them to their original smooth surface. That's being left up to the winning bidder to determine and address. Some rough edges around the diameter of the lip. The bottom and exterior is very clean with almost no scratching. Please note that the bowl has a silky feel to it from being seasoned and treated with food grade oil. The spoon or paddle measures 9 1/4" in length X 5" wide at the widest point. It too has wear and scratching from use with some minor surface splitting near the end. Nothing that goes through though. Overall a great candidate for restoration or to leave it as is to add to your primitive home decor. Should you have any questions or concerns. Hand made and primitive in appearance, they are slightly oblong and measure about 6 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" tall. Nicely sized, they will make a charming addition to any room. Vintage / Near Antique LOT 2 Wood Munising Bowls Mixing Chopping w/ NICE Chopper
Great vintage/ near antique lot consisting of TWO oval signed Munising Woodenware Co. bowls and one really sturdy antique chopper. The larger of the two bowls measures 11-1/4 x 10-1/2 and stands 3-1/8" high. This bowl is marked with the newer 1940's cursive lettering. The smaller bowl is also oval or"out of round" measuring 9" x 8-1/4" and standing 1-1/2" high. This smaller bowl is marked in the all block. Same size lettering indicative of the 1920's and has an outward extended rim around the exterior. You can see the turnings inside both bowls but they are more evident on the upper portions of the larger bowl. Both bowls have been well used and have great patina. Bowls nest together well. The chopper has a nice solid wood handle(4-1/4" long and 1" in diameter) With brass shaft marked at bottom ... morenear pins going through blade"A. FREEMAN, CAST STEEL" The 6" long steel blade is curved slightly for great chopping. I am unsure of the age of the chopper but I would expect c. 1900-1920s. Notice the great scribe marks down the handle to line up the shaft, the cracks in the top of the handle, the non circular shaft and washer showing on the top of handle AND the great patina. Note that the cracks in the top of the handle are not deep and do not pose any impediment to use(not sharp or splintery) This chopper feels great in the hand and the blade is still sharp. The bowl has a couple of issues, there are 3 distinct cracks in the bowl from soaking in water over the years(please see pics) The woodburnt mark on the bottom is one of the earlier stamps from the late 30's to the early 40's. There is also a smudge of yellowish paint on the outside edge of the bowl that has been there for quite some time. Overall this is not a perfect example, but it is still a nice piece for any collector, and if treated with care, it could still be a functional dough bowl. This wooden bowl came from an auction in Vermont. I believe it to be Munising but it is not signed Munising on the back. So I am not positive. This one is signed on the back with by ralphine? see the last picture. T he bowl is not perfectly round. It measures 9 1/4" across in one direction and 8 3/4" across in another. There is some light fuzz on the bowl. Possible from someone wiping it with a cloth before the varnish was completely dry. It has wear/use marks, please see all picture. It weighs 15 ounces.

Antique Vintage Munising 11 3/16" x 10 5/8" WOOD MIXING BOWL Up for bid is this Vintage Wooden Dough Bread Bowl. It is SIGNED: Munising 2nd on the bottom and was Made in MUNISING MICHIGAN. The Factory has been closed since 1955. This is one of the Larger bowls and is only slightly out of round. It measures approx. 11 3/16 in. x 10 5/8 in. 3 in. Deep(Tall) It is marked 2nd and shows a small knot mark on the inside and outside of the bowl(see photos) The knot in no way affects or affected the use of the bowl. This bowl is hand-painted and outside is treated with what I am assuming to be polyurethane the inside is raw(not oiled or treated) with some watermarks which should easily clean up with steel wool. Four Vintage And Antique Wooden Bowls- Dough Bowl, Munising and Mort N. Marton
I purchased these bowls a while back. The lady I got them from said that they had come out of an house up north. The dough is the largest at 14.5 x 13.5. The next bowl is marked Munising and is 11x 10. The next bowl is 10x 9.25. The last one is 8.75 x 8. I do not know the exact age on these. I think that the Munising and Mort are possibly mid-century. But not sure. Please view all pics for details. The bowls are very rustic. The dough bowl has cracks and the Munising bowl has a partially drilled hole on one side-does not go all the way through. The other unmarked bowl had been broken and glued back. The Mort bowl looks like tag says it is from Canadian birch. This bowl has some finish loss inside. 2 Antique Vintage Primitive Munising 2nd 11" Oblong Bowl & 17" Oval Trencher
This auction is for two different primitive wooden bowls marked. Munising 2nd" on the bottoms. Both show years of use and the trencher has a burn by the edge and a crack in the bottom. They are both still solid and strong and in original condition. The bowl is oblong and measures about 11 1/4" x 10 1/4" and the trencher measures about 16 3/4" x 9" Both for one amount, low minimum bid!

Antique Vintage Signed Marked Munising Wood Wooden Dough Bowl with Spoon Paddle
This listing is for an antique or vintage Munising wood bowl with paddle/spoon. This bowl is slightly out of round. Not sure if it was intentionally made that way or if this is from age and use. Either way. It's stated and photographed for your consideration. That being said there are a few measurements to consider. At the shortest diameter distance the bowl measures 10 1/4" in diameter. At the longest diameter distance the bowl measures 11" in diameter. Again. This is from being slightly out of round. The bowl has some heavy scratching from use. Mostly located at the center interior. You can see this in the photos. I know that some people like to sand these out and return them to their original smooth surface. That's being left up to the winning bidder to determine and address. Some rough edges around the diameter of the ... morelip. The bottom and exterior is very clean with almost no scratching. Please note that the bowl has a silky feel to it from being seasoned and treated with food grade oil. The spoon or paddle measures 9 1/4" in length X 5" wide at the widest point. It too has wear and scratching from use with some minor surface splitting near the end. Nothing that goes through though. Overall a great candidate for restoration or to leave it as is to add to your primitive home decor. Should you have any questions or concerns.
