Farm fresh as they say! Just picked this up in Eastern Pennsylvania. Beautiful copper deer weathervane that comes with a pair of copper orbs. N.S.W.E copper directionals and a great iron mount that has a little rust on it like you'd expect. Deer on it's own measures 32" tall X 23 1/2" wide(Schaefer can in first pic for reference) All the pieces have a great patina on them as the pics show. Pictures 7 and 8 show both sides of the deer. This is a HUGE full bodied Vintage Flying duck weathervane. It is made of solid copper. It was acquired from a duck hunting club in southern Missouri. It was mounted on top of the clubhouse and it blew off the roof top in a huge storm in 2010. It never was remounted and has sat in a storage shed ever since. It took a major hit and there is damage to this weathervane as shown in the pictures provided. You are buying this in AS/IS condition. From what I can see from inspecting it is there is damage to the neck. Both wing tips and the mounting rod. The rod will need to be resoldered onto the vane. Vintage gold gilt full bodied American eagle weathervane. The eagle is standing on a ball and has wings in full spread. The metal beneath is either copper or zinc. There are two dents; one on the ball and one near the tail. It has very nice detail and form. It is inscribed under the tail: John L. Riddle gift to D.H. Caldwell. Year of the great blizzard Feb. 7, 1978. The piece measures 23" tall, 25" wide and 19" deep. The surface finish is still in nice condition. A VINTAGE LARGE AMERICAN EAGLE WEATHER VANE
This is a wonderful old copper American eagle weather vane. The eagle is 16" long.17" tall and the wings are 12" extended. All copper construction,there is some damage one wing needs to be re-soldered one foot is missing and the other is loose. The patina on the old eagle is a wonderful green/grey. This is a great weather vane with a couple repairs can be a great display piece.

Rare Vintage Architectural Copper Roof Top Weathervane of American Eagle
Rare vintage architectural weathervane of American Eagle cast in heavy gauge copper measures 31" in width and 44" in height. With a wingspan of 32" The weathervane would be outstanding as the focal point for a roof top. It has the bluish green patina of copper developed over the years. It is a complete weathervane with operable directional spears. Rooftop attachment is not included. Vintage American Folk Art Copper Running Horse Weathervane 19th C.??
Vintage Very nice American Folk Art Copper running Horse weathervane with two copper balls. The north. East, south, west parts looks to be brass that is 18 in. long with 3 1/4 letters on them along with the brass bar stand. looks too be in great shape with no dents or cracks. Feel free to ask any Questions I will do my best to answers them. Measurements, The horse is 3/4 to 11/4 in thick. From the front foot to the tail is 25in. long. From the nose too the tail is 221/2 in. long. From the copper mounting tube to the top of the ear is12 in. tall. The copper tube the horse mounted too is 27 1/4 in long. Top of horse too the very bottom of the weathervane mount is 33 in. tall altogether. please look over all picture and ask? if have any before bidding. Sorry only ship in US. Acquired at an old estate sale on the North Fork of Long Island. NY farm country. Weathervane is in good workable condition, with plenty of antique patina& rust. Measures approx. 25" tall X 11" wide, and has a light green original color. The bottom of the weathervane rod looks like it was either used garden-syle(in the ground) or had a base(see photo) Would make a great collectible for a recondition project or kept as is. It depicts a running horse with a rider on a sulky. American made genre. No maker mark is present. The horse is a swelled body form with raised foreleg, rippled copper mane and ridged tail. The horse's face is copper molded. Ears are tight and forward pointing. This piece has a wonderful natural patina. The verdigris is from years of weathering. The piece has been restored as follows: each sulky wheel was mended using a short copper tubing and a spot of solder; as well. One spoke in each wheel was restored using copper. The rider was re-soldered to his seat. The copper straps on the horse were re-soldered in a few spots; the copper strapping was lightly cleaned to highlight the straps.
