Up for sale is a really neat lighting rod with a copper twist. And starburst finial on the top.Has great patina.Measures about 5' without finial.Tripod base kinda rusted out some, but still sturdy.Will have to bend inward some for shipping.Copper starburst has some bends and such, but screw off just fine and looks really cool.Copper rod has wear and tear, with some spots with the copper is pulled back and torn.The copper is not solid, but a lined the outside of the rod.Really interesting the way it seems to be made.Please see pics.Any questions please ask.

It looks like a wrought iron but with the green on it I can’t tell if it was painted or possible copper turned green. It measures about 8 ¾” long by 4” wide and is in as-found condition so some of the points are bent. Most of my items are estate finds so I have no way of knowing if they came from a smoke free or pet free house. Keep this in mind if you are overly sensitive. A complete weathervane including starburst. Ball, arrow lightning rod a very thick spiraled center piece and 3 roof mounts. The starburst was originally a 9 point star but now is actually a 7 point star(due to the ravages of time) but at a distance(mounted) it looks fine.This piece can also be purchased on Ebay if the correct piece is desired. ANTIQUE RARE 11 POINT BRASS STARBURST ELECTRA LIGHTNING ROD CROWN TOPPER FINIAL
Very nice and super rare Electra"E" brass lightning rod topper/finial. In the eleven point starburst. Crown point pattern. Measures 7 inches tall and 4 inches wide. With the original attached copper shaft it measures a total length of 10.5 inches. Condition: original aged green tint patina. also has what looks to be some of the original shiny silver nickel plating on the star. Could probably be polished nicely. Several of the tips have slight bends that are easily straightened. Otherwise no bends as seen in the pictures. Does have some pitting along"spear" part below starburst. Copper pipe does have small split where it connects to finial(note these are two pieces. Most do not have original crimped shaft) End of copper shaft is uneven.
