DRUM SOLO Greg Gaylord Solid one ply ASH 4.5"x14" snare drum cast hoops RARE!
I bought this drum used. It was claimed to be a 4x14 Gaylord Drum Solo drum. When the drum arrived I was pleasantly supprised to discover it was actually 4.5 inches deep. There is no DRUM SOLO badge but it is definitely signed on th inside and playing thi drum does feel like it's a hand made instrument. Very sensitive snare response and a beautiful tone. The shell is in round the edges are clean and sharp enough to shave with. There are cosmetic issues: the brass hardware shows scratches and wear although noting deep enough to expose"white metal" The marine pearl finish has marks and appears at one time to have had diamond shaped decorations between each lug. The worst result of the removal left two small holes down to the wood. This item only ships to the lower 48 US states.

This auction is for a very old solid cast iron man. I beleive at one time he was the driver of a sulky horse on a weather vane. sitting. From his rump to top of his head he is 4 1/4 inches tall. He is two iron pieces put together with a seam going all the way up his back and front and across the top of his hat and across his bottom. It comes down his face on one side of his nose. standing he would be around 7 inches if his legs were in the standing position. he has a rusty cover from age but is very solid and heavy for his size. The floor keeper can be bought at any home center. This is used on the secondary door of double doors to hold it secure. It can also be used on any door as a horizontal latch/bolt if enough wood is exposed on your frame(about 1” when your door is in the closed position. It is heavy cast brass and not cast iron and nothing like the flimsy made imports of today using some sort of pot metal. This has never been used but it does have light numerous scratches and digs. Because it is solid cast brass it would polish up like/near new if that ... morewas the finish you were looking for. This one I started to polish using a buffer on a drill and it took about five minutes to do using a brass paste polish. Almost all scratches and marks were polished off doing it that way. I did not polish all areas on it but you get the idea. I did it as an example. This is not spring loaded, because it’s made of cast brass it’s great to use on sheds and bulkhead wooden doors. The bolt base measures 6 ¼” x 1 ¾” Circ. middle of last century. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. These REALLY look like brass. But a magnet sticks to everything, so I am assuming it is cast iron. They are at least from the 70's, because they were in my Mothers house for at least that long. They are very heavy, and solid. Of course, there is some slight surface rust and signs of age, but no damage or abuse to call. I think they will clean up beautifully! The poker is a little bent, but nothing that cannot be straightened if it bothered you. The stand's handle unscrews, from the base, so I will separate it for shipping. That should just about do it! Antique Vintage Wooden School Desk Swivel Chair VERY Solid Build Cast Iron Base
1940-50's- ANTIQUE- VINTAGE- RETRO- SCHOOL DESK W/ ATTACHED SWIVEL CHAIR- UNIQUE! RARE! This children's school desk was in use at a local Vocational High School near where I live over 26 years ago. The school was updating its furniture and opened up to the public to buy the old desks to help fund the new ones. Well. I lucked out to be able to pick out two lovely, well kept desks when I got there, and have been using this charming piece every since then in my home. It is definitely in Excellent Used Condition with a few stray marker marks on the top from when my son was a toddler. Desk has been kept in our home, consistantly, for the past 26 or so years, not stored in a garage or out in the weather at all. It is dusty and could use a cleaning ~ maybe even light restoration or refinishing to bring out and highlite its natural beauty, ... morewhich won't take much work at all since it is in such good shape- not thick with layers and layers of varnish, polyeurethane or paint etc. Seat is wood and metal, and desk top is wood, and lifts open to store your paper and supplies inside perfectly, with two metal props on the inside compartment on either side to make the desktop level if needed- see pics. Both the seat and the desktop operate well, and both are height adjustable. There isn't a better built or more sturdy, stable piece of furniture around! This is a great piece for display. For a play desk for your little ones, or to home-school and keep everything organized and everyone on-task in an educational type setting! Condition: This piece is vintage and in used condition. There are some very minor stray marker/crayon/glue/glitter marks on this piece as is typical for a children's school desk. There are also a couple very light etchings in the wood. A solid cast iron head and handle on this sad iron makes it weigh approximately 6 lbs. It is old- not sure of a date. Does have what looks like an IXL and 6 in raised lettering on the top of the bottom part. Has been painted a silver color- paint is chipping. The handle appears to be a bit tipped to one side- not sure it that is on purpose or not. Found at an estate auction. Bottom shows some scratching. But is not gouged. Some rusting. Listed is an art deco cast iron bridge floor lamp. This lamp has the solid cast iron post and the cord hangs on the outside not in the inside of the post. This lamp stands 57" tall with a 8" square base and an 11" cast iron bridge. The glass art deco shade is 4 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" base opening. I am listing this lamp in the very same condition as I bought it. It appears to have been repainted and probably a replaced light cord. It works good but light bulb not included. SOLID CAST IRON! TOP AND BASE! This vintage stocking holder is completely made of solid cast iron. There is a green rubber bottom to keep it from damaging your mantel. A Christmas tree being decorated by 3 children. In great condition. There are some places that has paint chipped off. But that is easily fixed if you choose to do so. I think it adds vintage charm. Great antique Brackets for a Glass Shelf in excellent condition and a great design. Circa 1910. Made of solid cast nickel. I am not including the glass shelf and selling the brackets only as the glass shelf is in poor condition with many chips and film buildup on the flat areas. A replacement shelf can be easily made. I can include the glass for the same sale price but the shipping will need to be updated and will cost quite a bit more if the glass is included. Brackets will hold a shelf 4 7/8" wide.
