Up for consideration is this one Older Lightening Rod Globe-Ball. I assume this is vintage due to it's appearance. Estate Sale find. Thick milk glass type globe in a powder blue color. Some chips and ware on top and bottom holes rims as shown. I can not find any crack or breaks. Please view the pictures as part of the description. Great replacement globe for your lightening rod. 2 Vintage Powder Blue & White Milk Glass Round Lightning Rod Balls
For sale is a pair of vintage lightning rod balls. may be antique. These came from the farm country of Southeast Kansas from an Antique Dealers auction. In another auction I will list 2 metal vanes. The balls. One blue and one white appear to be like milk glass. The blue one has been used and has come chipping around both of its 1.25" lips. The white one has a pair of plastic fasteners attached and I notice some chipping on one end. This need cleaning. But otherwise I do not see any condition issues. About 5" long; softball size. Nice pieces. ask questions. These are the first of these that I have had. Thanks.

An old powder blue milk glass lightning rod ball approximately 4 3/8" D. Was used on lightning rods on barns& houses as a decoration on the rods. Mainly used in the 1800's& early 1900's. This one has little bubbles all over it& an old tight crack. With no missing glass, on one side- possibly from a hailstorm. The ends were covered by metal caps, so the edges were not finished.
