They were salvaged from a barn or industrial building but they took care when taking them off…I picked the best 2 when I bought them. The bottom opening is 24” X 24” The overall height is about 33” to the tip at the top. The height to the top of the ring is about 29” The Diameter of the ring is about 28” There are no bullet holes or other major detracting damages but there are some expected dings etc. from usage& removal… the edges are bent from removal but should come back to shape for the most part when properly framed/mounted. ALSO. I see 1 has a dent on 1 side…again, this should be able to be reshaped for the most part ... moreby someone in the know as they are soft copper. Weight is estimated at 25 to 30 pounds each. I’d guess they are 70 to 100 or so years old. These are a good size for a house or a smaller barn(30’ X 50’ or so) or industrial building. Remember. These are SOLID COPPER& will buff to a high shine if you don’t like the original weathered look. You’ll have a hard time finding another pair like these especially at this price! Each of these copper lightning rod/weathervane tree branch/twig finials is a little over 10" long. The threaded opening is 5/16" across. The finials remain in fine. Sound, weather-beaten condition. Together they weigh 6 1/4 ounces. We'll ship the two relics shown in our scans with tracking number for $9.85. For sale a wonderful pair of a original late 19th century/ early 20th century tin vent cupolas. Each is hand crafted with a soldered and riveted top. The top connects to the base with straight edge screws and square bolts. The paint is all original. There looks to be several layers of red present from years of repainting. Some of the paint is chipping in spots but this gives each a unique textured appearance. A few dents and some wear can be found but nothing that detracts from their appearance.
